ప్రముఖ నిర్మాత సూర్యదేవర రాధాకృష్ణ (చినబాబు) కుమార్తె హారిక సూర్యదేవర నిర్మాతగా పరిచయమవుతున్న యూత్‌ఫుల్ ఎంటర్‌టైనర్ ‘మ్యాడ్’. సూర్యదేవర నాగ వంశీ సమర్పిస్తున్న యూత్‌ఫుల్ ఎంటర్‌టైనర్ కి ఫార్చూన్ ఫోర్ సినిమాస్‌పై సాయి సౌజన్య సహ నిర్మాతగా వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారు. ఈ చిత్రంతో కళ్యాణ్ శంకర్ దర్శకుడిగా పరిచయమవుతున్నారు. ఈ వినోదాత్మక చిత్రంలో సంగీత్ శోభన్, నార్నే నితిన్, రామ్ నితిన్, శ్రీ గౌరీ ప్రియా రెడ్డి, అనంతిక సనీల్‌కుమార్, గోపికా ఉద్యాన్ ప్రధాన పాత్రలు పోషించారు. ఈ సినిమా అక్టోబర్ 6న థియేటర్లలో భారీస్థాయిలో విడుదల కానుంది. బుధవారం సాయంత్రం మ్యాడ్ మూవీ ప్రీ రిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్ వైభవంగా జరిగింది. యువత కేరింతల నడుమ ఎంతో ఘనంగా జరిగిన ఈ వేడుకకు దుల్కర్ సల్మాన్, సిద్ధు జొన్నలగడ్డ, శ్రీలీల, దర్శకుడు వెంకీ అట్లూరి, దర్శకుడు అనుదీప్ తదితరులు అతిథులుగా హాజరయ్యారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా దుల్కర్ సల్మాన్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. “అందరికీ నమస్కారం. నేను సితార బ్యానర్ లో వెంకీ అట్లూరి దర్శకత్వంలో తెలుగు సినిమా చేస్తున్నాను. ఆ సినిమా పట్ల ఎంతో ఉత్సాహంగా ఉన్నాను. మ్యాడ్ విషయానికొస్తే ట్రైలర్ నిజంగానే మ్యాడ్ గా, చాలా ఫన్నీగా ఉంది. నటీనటులు ఎవరూ కొత్తవాళ్ళ లాగా లేరు. చాలా బాగా చేశారు. భీమ్స్ గారి మ్యూజిక్ చాలా బాగుంది. ఆ మ్యూజిక్ విని నాకు తెలియకుండానే కాలు కదుపుతున్నాను. షామ్ దత్ గారి వర్క్ సూపర్బ్. హారిక, చినబాబు గారు, వంశీ గారు అందరికీ ఆల్ ది బెస్ట్. ఈ సినిమా మ్యాడ్ బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ అవుతుందని ఆశిస్తున్నాను. సిద్ధు నీ టిల్లు స్క్వేర్ కోసం ఎంతగానో ఎదురుచూస్తున్నాను. శ్రీలీల ఒకేసారి చాలా సినిమాలు చేస్తుంది. నేను తన డ్యాన్స్ చూసి సర్ ప్రైజ్ అవుతాను. ఆల్ ది బెస్ట్.” అన్నారు.

సిద్ధు జొన్నలగడ్డ మాట్లాడుతూ.. “సితార సినిమా అంటే నా సినిమా లాంటిది. మొదట కళ్యాణ్ మ్యాడ్ స్టోరీ లైన్ ని నాకు చెప్పినప్పుడు, చాలా ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తాను. ఇది ఖచ్చితంగా చేయాల్సిన అప్పుడే అనిపించింది. ఈరోజు కళ్యాణ్ ని చూస్తుంటే చాలా సంతోషంగా ఉంది. నితిన్, రామ్, సంగీత్, గౌరీ, అనంతిక, గోపిక.. మీరందరూ సితార బ్యానర్ నిర్మించిన సినిమాలో భాగం కావడం లక్కీ. సితార వాళ్ళు సినిమా గురించి తప్ప ఖర్చు గురించి గానీ, టైం గురించి గానీ పట్టించుకోరు. సినిమా కరెక్ట్ గా రావాలని మాత్రమే చూస్తారు. ఈ సినిమాతో నిర్మాతగా పరిచయమవుతున్న చినబాబు గారి కుమార్తె హారికకి ఆల్ ది బెస్ట్. టిల్లు స్క్వేర్ కి కళ్యాణ్ కూడా ఒక రైటర్. అతను ఎలా ఆలోచిస్తాడో, ఎలా రాస్తాడో నాకు తెలుసు. ఈ సినిమా మీ అందరికీ ఖచ్చితంగా నచ్చుతుంది. నాగవంశీ గారు ఇప్పటికే చెప్పినట్టు జాతిరత్నాలుకి ఏమాత్రం తగ్గకుండా ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తారు. దుల్కర్ గారు చాలా నైస్ పర్సన్. చినబాబు గారు ఈరోజు మధ్యాహ్నం ఒక విషయం చెప్పారు. అది చెప్పొచ్చో చెప్పకూడదో తెలియదు. ఇవాళ గుంటూరు కారం సాంగ్ షూట్ నుంచి వచ్చారంట. చినబాబు గారి గొంతులో నేను అంత ఎక్సైట్ మెంట్ చాలారోజుల తర్వాత విన్నాను. సాంగ్ సూపర్ వచ్చింది, థియేటర్లు తగలబడిపోతాయి అన్నారు ఆయన.” అన్నారు.

శ్రీలీల మాట్లాడుతూ.. “రీసెంట్ గా గుంటూరు కారం షూటింగ్ లొకేషన్ లో నేను అటుఇటు నడుస్తుండగా నిర్మాతలు మ్యాడ్ సినిమా గురించి మాట్లాడుకుంటున్నారు. అప్పుడు ఈ సినిమా గురించి తెలుసుకున్నాను. ఈ సినిమా ఈవెంట్ కి రావడం సంతోషంగా ఉంది. నాకు జాతిరత్నాలు చూసినప్పటి నుంచి ఇలాంటి హిలేరియస్ సినిమాలంటే చాలా ఇష్టం. నేను సితారలో ఆదికేశవ సినిమా చేస్తున్నాను. త్వరలోనే ఆ సినిమాతో అలరిస్తాం. ఈ మ్యాడ్ సినిమా మ్యాడ్ ఉంటదంట. అందరూ చూసి ఎంజాయ్ చేయండి” అన్నారు.

సంగీత్ శోభన్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. “సంవత్సరం ముందు సినిమా స్టార్ట్ చేశాం. అక్టోబర్ 5, 2022 ఫస్ట్ డే షూట్ జరిగింది. అక్టోబర్ 6, 2023 సినిమా విడుదలవుతుంది. ఒక సంవత్సరం మొత్తం చాలా కష్టపడ్డాం. ఆ కష్టంలో చాలామందికి థాంక్స్ చెప్పుకోవాలి. డైరెక్షన్ డిపార్ట్మెంట్ కి, టెక్నీషియన్స్, నా తోటి నటీనటులు అందరికీ థాంక్స్. డైరెక్టర్ కళ్యాణ్ అన్న మొదట మ్యాడ్ కథని సిద్ధు అన్నకి చెప్పారు. సిద్ధు అన్ననే వంశీ అన్న దగ్గరకు తీసుకొచ్చారు. అలా మ్యాడ్ సినిమా రావడానికి సిద్ధు అన్న కారణమయ్యాడు. దుల్కర్ గారికి పెద్ద అభిమానిని. మా అన్న సంతోష్ నటించిన అన్నీ మంచి శకునములే మూవీ ప్రీ రిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్ కి దుల్కర్ గెస్ట్ గా వచ్చారు. ఆ సమయంలో మా అన్న దుల్కర్ తో టైం స్పెండ్ చేశాడు. ఇక ఆ తర్వాత రోజు వచ్చి దుల్కర్ ఎంత సింపుల్ గా ఉన్నాడురా అని చెబుతూనే ఉన్నాడు. అప్పుడే అనుకున్న నాక్కూడా ఒకరోజు వస్తుందని. సరిగ్గా నాలుగు నెలలకే ఇప్పుడు దుల్కర్ నా సినిమాకి గెస్ట్ గా రావడం చాలా సంతోషంగా ఉంది. అలాగే ట్రైలర్ లాంచ్ చేసిన తారక్ అన్నకి థాంక్స్. ప్రపంచాన్ని జయించినంత ఆనందం వచ్చింది. చినబాబు గారు తక్కువ మాట్లాడతారు, కానీ అందరినీ గైడ్ చేస్తారు. హారిక ఈ సినిమాతో నిర్మాతగా పరిచయం కావడం సంతోషంగా ఉంది. వంశీ అన్న మాకు బ్యాక్ బోన్ గా నిలిచారు. మ్యాడ్ సినిమాలో నన్ను ముందుగా ఎంపిక చేసినందుకు కళ్యాణ్ గారికి థాంక్స్. మా టీజర్, ట్రైలర్ నచ్చి, ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్ ఉంటుందని నమ్మితే థియేటర్లకు రండి. మీ ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్ మా బాధ్యత. మీరు పెట్టిన ప్రతి రూపాయికి తగ్గ వినోదాన్ని మేము అందిస్తాం” అన్నారు.

నార్నే నితిన్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. “ముందుగా మా దర్శకుడు కళ్యాణ్ గారి గురించి మాట్లాడుకోవాలి. మేమేదో పని చేయడానికో, షూట్ కో వెళ్తున్నట్టు ఏరోజు కూడా మాకు అనిపించలేదు. ఎన్ని టెన్షన్స్ ఉన్నా కూడా ఆయన నవ్వుతూ మమ్మల్ని నవ్విస్తూ ఉన్నారు. రేప్పొద్దున థియేటర్లలో మీ అందరినీ కూడా నవ్విస్తాడు. నాకు ఈ మూవీలో అవకాశం ఇచ్చినందుకు థాంక్యూ కళ్యాణ్ అన్నా. ఈ సినిమాని మొదటి నుంచి నమ్మి ఇంత గ్రాండ్ గా నిర్మించినందుకు మా చినబాబు గారికి, వంశీ గారికి, హారిక గారికి థాంక్స్ చెప్పుకుంటున్నాను. ఇంత మంచి పాటలిచ్చిన భీమ్స్ గారికి థాంక్స్. బావ(జూనియర్ ఎన్టీఆర్) గురించి మాట్లాడుకోవాలి, బావకి థాంక్స్ చెప్పుకోవాలి. ఈరోజు మాకు ఇంత సపోర్ట్ ఉంది, మాకు ఇంతమంది బ్లెస్సింగ్స్ ఉన్నాయంటే ఆయన వల్లే. ఆయన ఎప్పుడూ నాకు సపోర్ట్ గా ఉన్నారు. థాంక్యూ బావ. అక్టోబర్ 6న థియేటర్లలో కలుద్దాం” అన్నారు.

రామ్ నితిన్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. “నాకు ఈ సినిమాలో నటించే అవకాశమిచ్చిన నిర్మాతలు చినబాబు గారికి, నాగవంశీ గారికి, హారిక గారికి చాలా థాంక్స్. నేను ఈ పాత్ర చేయగలనని నమ్మిన దర్శకుడు కళ్యాణ్ గారికి చాలా థాంక్స్. నన్ను ఇంత బాగా చూపించిన షామ్‌దత్ గారికి, దినేష్ గారికి చాలా థాంక్స్. సంగీతంతో సినిమాని మరోస్థాయికి తీసుకెళ్లిన భీమ్స్ గారికి చాలా థాంక్స్. నేను యాక్టర్ ని అవుతానని చెప్పినప్పుడు.. నన్ను ప్రోత్సహించిన నా పేరెంట్స్ కి థాంక్స్. ఇది నా మొదటి సినిమా. భవిష్యత్ లో దుల్కర్ గారు చేసిన జనతా హోటల్ తరహా పాత్రలు చేయాలనుంది.” అన్నారు.

చిత్ర దర్శకుడు కళ్యాణ్ శంకర్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. “ముందుగా చినబాబు గారికి థాంక్యూ సో మచ్ సార్. ఒక చిన్న సినిమా ఐడియా చెబుదామా వద్దా అనే డౌట్ తో మీ దగ్గరకు వచ్చాను. కానీ కథ వినగానే మీరు సినిమా చేయడానికి అంగీకరించినందుకు థాంక్స్. వంశీ అన్న ఎప్పుడూ వెనకుండి ప్రోత్సహిస్తూ ఉంటారు. మాతో పాటే హారిక గారు నిర్మాతగా పరిచయమవుతున్నారు. స్క్రిప్ట్ స్టార్ట్ చేసిన మొదటిరోజు నుంచి మాతో ట్రావెల్ అయ్యారు. మొదట ఈ కథ ఐడియాని సిద్ధుకి చెప్పినప్పుడు.. బాగుందని చెప్పి వంశీ అన్నతో మాట్లాడించాడు. ఎడిటర్ నవీన్ నూలి అన్న సినిమాని తీర్చిదిద్దిన విధానం వేరే లెవెల్. ఇంత మంచి మ్యూజిక్ ఇచ్చిన భీమ్స్ అన్నకి లవ్ యూ. డీఓపీలు షామ్ గారు, దినేష్ సినిమాని అందంగా తీశారు. అలాగే నా డైరెక్షన్ డిపార్ట్మెంట్ కి స్పెషల్ థాంక్స్. మా హీరోల గురించి సక్సెస్ మీట్ లో స్పెషల్ గా మాట్లాడతాను. నా ఫ్రెండ్ అనుదీప్ లేకపోతే నేను లేను. థాంక్యూ అనుదీప్” అన్నారు.

దర్శకుడు అనుదీప్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. “కొత్తవారిని ప్రోత్సహిస్తూ ఈ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించిన నాగవంశీ గారికి, చినబాబు గారికి ధన్యవాదాలు. ఈ సినిమా దర్శకుడు నా స్నేహితుడు. అక్టోబర్ 6న థియేటర్లలో ఈ సినిమా చూసి మీరంతా ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తారని ఆశిస్తున్నాను” అన్నారు.

దర్శకుడు వెంకీ అట్లూరి మాట్లాడుతూ.. “సితార బ్యానర్ ద్వారా లాంచ్ అవుతున్న దర్శకుడు కళ్యాణ్ కి ఆల్ ది బెస్ట్. సితారలో సినిమా చేస్తే బయటకు వెళ్ళాలి అనిపించదు. దానికి ఉదాహరణ నేనే. నేను మూడో సినిమా చేస్తున్నాను ఇప్పుడు. నిర్మాతగా పరిచయమవుతున్న హారికకి ఆల్ ది బెస్ట్. ముందుముందు మరిన్ని సినిమాలు నిర్మించాలి. నితిన్, రామ్, సంగీత్ ఈ ముగ్గురూ ఎక్కడికో వెళ్తారు. భీమ్స్ స్వరపరిచిన పాటలు ఎంతగానో నచ్చాయి.” అన్నారు.

ప్రముఖ యాంకర్ సుమ హోస్ట్ చేసిన ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో చిత్ర సంగీత దర్శకుడు భీమ్స్ సిసిరోలియో, గీత రచయిత కాసర్ల శ్యామ్, ‘ఆదికేశవ’ దర్శకుడు శ్రీకాంత్ తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Starring actors Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, Ram Nithin, Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananathika Sanilkumar, Gopikaa Udyan, comedy entertainer Mad is hitting screens worldwide on October 6.

Directed by Kalyan Shankar, the film is produced jointly by Haarika Suryadevara & Sai Soujanya under the banner Haarika & Hassine Creations and Sithara Entertainments. The entire team celebrated the pre-release event on Wednesday.

Dulquer Salmaan, who attended the event as the chief guest, said: Hello good evening. I came to Hyderabad to do a direct Telugu film with Venky Atluri. First of all, Mad looks mad, exciting and entertaining. I debuted 12 years ago, I looked amateur. But these young chaps don’t seem to be debutants at all. Ram, Nithin and Sangeeth, and leading ladies Gopika, Gouri, and Ananthika — you all look phenomenal. It doesn’t look like your first film. The film looks so much fun. Bheems garu I loved the music, tapping the music the whole time. Haarika, Chinnababu sir, Vamsi garu all the best for the film. Oct 6th can’t wait to watch it, it is going to be mad entertaining.

Sreeleela: I am very happy to be here today. It was sometime back when we were shooting Guntur Karam, there was a serious conversation among the producers. They were saying that the film had come out really well. All the actors were newbies. Shot with small kids. So I thought they were all toddlers. And I didn’t know that they are all this big-talented lot. Looks to be entertaining for me. Maybe similar to Jathi Ratnalu. I am a big fan of the comedy genre. I wish the team all the best.

Siddu Jonnalagadda: Good evening all, firstly, it was Kalyan who narrated to me the story of Mad when we’re chilling out in Dubai. I was in splits listening to the comedy. I immediately thought that this has to be a feature film. I am very glad for Kalyan, glad to be here at this event and part of your journey. The entire cast of Mad — all you guys have no idea how lucky you’re to be doing this movie under Sithara Entertainments. Because they love cinema. Congrats Haarika for her debut. Another interesting thing is that Kalyan is one of the writers for Tillu Square.

Gopika Udyan: This movie ‘Mad’ happened very unexpectedly to me. So thrilled to be part of this fun filled entertainer. We’re coming to theatres on October 6. Definitely, it is going to be a promising one, so don’t miss it.

Ananthika Sanilkumar: I thank the makers Suryadevara Naga Vamis garu and Haarika for giving me a wonderful role to perform. Don’t miss the fun in theatres. I once again thank my director Kalyan, co-stars, and technicians who worked on this great project.

Gouri Priya Reddy: It’s been a year since we have been shooting for Mad. And finally, we’re arriving in theatres. I’ve been waiting to see audiences experience the madness that we all had during the shooting process. I thank Chinnababu sir, Naga Vamsi garu, director Kalyan, Haarika and all my co-stars for their lovely support.

Filmmaker Anudeep KV: Warm welcome to Dulquer Salmaan garuu. Sreeleela garu I am a big fan of your dance. Firstly, I thank Naga Vamsi garu and Chinnababu garu for bankrolling the project Mad. Kalyan is a close friend of mine, so I had to do a character in the film.

Ram Nithin: I thank the makers for giving me the chance in the film Mad. I thank director Kalyan anna for believing in me. I thank the cinematographers Shamdat Sainudeen and Dinesh garu for showing me so beautifully on the screen. I thank Bheems for making the film a next-level entertainer with his music. I have completed my B. Tech in 2020, my father asked me what I wanted to become. I replied that I wanted to become an actor. Now I am here, I thank my dad for letting me do what I love the most. I am a big fan of Dulquer Salmaan after watching his film Ustad Hotel in 2012. I wish to play such roles in future films.

Narne Nithin: I thank the makers first for accomplishing the project Mad. I thank chief guests Dulquer Salmaan, Siddu Jonnalagadda, and Sreeleela garu for gracing the event. Firstly, I would like to thank Kalyan anna for the way he handled the project. We never had the feeling that we were heading to the workplace during the shoot. Kalyan would keep us all high-spirited all the time on the sets. I thank Chinnababu garu, Vamsi anna, and Haarika for their love and support. Bheems’ music for the College Papa song is amazing, I thank him from the bottom of my heart.

Sangeeth Shoban: We had worked for almost a year to bring Mad before you. On this occasion, I would like to give credit to the entire team. Sreeleela garu, wish we could match at least 50 percent of your energy. Tillu anna (Siddu Jonnalagadda), it was he who first heard the story Mad from director Kalyan.

Dulquer Salmaan is the most in-demand actor across the industries. I had the fanboy moment when I first saw Dulquer at a pub in Hyderabad. When my friend told me that Dulquer was there, I wondered why he would come from Kerala to Hyderabad. But when I saw him, I took my phone out and started shooting a video. I shouldn’t have done that, it was really awkward. Later my brother Santosh Shoban said Dulquer was coming to grace the pre-release event of Anni Manchi Sakunamule. And four months later, he is here at my movie Mad. And to all the audiences and film buffs here, I would like to say one thing, if you think Mad would give some entertainment in theatres please watch it.

Venky Atluri: Once you start making movies with Sithara Entertainments, there will be no looking back. Congrats to Haarika for her debut as a producer. I am sure actors Ram Nithin, Narne Nithin and Sangeeth — you will all go places, I am sure. If I have to blindly place a bet on the newcomers in the Telugu film industry, it would be you three. All the best to the female ladies of Mad. And glad that Sreeleela garu has become so busy. I once heard that it was yesteryear star late Sridevi garu who achieved that feat of becoming busiest actress. And now it is you. And there was a time when I along with Siddu Jonnalagadda gave auditions. Happy to see him here at this event. Dulquer and I are working on a movie in Telugu, we drove straight to the event after the day’s shoot was wrapped up.

Kalyan Shankar: I know you all have been waiting for the speeches of the three guests here. But before that, I would like to thank the makers, actors and technicians who worked incessantly for the project Mad. Haarika was there from day one on the sets. All these young bunch of actors have come together to make a wonderful project. Siddu was the reason to make this Mad project happen. Dulquer, I am a big fan of you. It can be seen in my eyes. Sreeleela garu we’re going to work together.

Lyric writer Raghuram: This is my second collaboration with Sithara Entertainment. Previously, I had worked with Varudu Kavalenu in which I wrote the song ‘Vaddanam’. Now I wrote a song in Mad. I thank Bheems Ceciroleo for the opportunity. Director Kalyan Shankar has become a good friend to me in this journey. Not just college students, the film will entertain all sections of audiences.

Choreographer Vijay: I am happy to choreograph the song ‘College Papa..’ in this movie. I am very fortunate that all my songs like Nakkileesu Golusu, Baby, Lingidi Lingidi have all become massive hits. Coming to the movie Mad, our college boys Narne Nithin, Ram Nithin and Sangeeth Shoban all have rocked the screen with their performance. We’ve all enjoyed watching the trailer of Mad, the film will be as mad as this talented young lot.

Choreographer Jithu: First of all, I would like to thank the makers Suryadevara Naga Vamsi garu, and the director Kalyan for giving me this chance. I choreographed the song ‘Nuvvu Navvukuntu Vellipomake..’ which has been received well by audiences. I once again thank Bheems for composing the song and wish the entire cast all the very best.

Lyric writer Kasarla Shyam: Mad is going to be a fun ride in theatres. I thank director Kalyan in advance congratulations for making such a wonderful story. He flattered everyone with the trailer in which the dialogue impressed everyone. Nee perenti ra ante.. Antony. Emiti thony..” That was hilarious. For the present generation of youngsters, songs have become Instagram reels and dialogues have become single one liners. Mad has emotion, love, fun and bonding.

Lyrics writer Bhole: Firstly, I thank music composer Bheems for his mind-boggling talent. I thank Kalyan. Bheems is someone who would travel with the song. Once he had sent me a tune saying that no one could write the lyrics as he wanted. When I sent him the lyrics, he was so impressed. Immediately, Naga Vamsi garu okayed it without any second thought. That is a college song that has become a massive hit on social media.

మనో రంజన్ ఒక అమాయకపు వ్యక్తి. ‘రాజా వారు రాణి గారు’లో కాస్త సాఫ్ట్‌గా నటించాను. అతని ఇంటి చుట్టుపక్కల చాలా జాగ్రత్తగా, ఆప్యాయంగా కొంతమంది పిల్లలు పెరుగుతారు. వారికి అన్ని సుఖాలు, సౌకర్యాలు ఉన్నాయి. మరో రంజన్ ఆ విధమైన పెంపకం ఉన్న వ్యక్తి. తనపై ఎవరైనా నిందలు వేసినా ఎలా స్పందించాలో తనకు తెలియదు.

మీరు సినిమా ఇండస్ట్రీకి రాకముందు సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్ ఇంజనీర్. ఈ పాత్ర మీ నిజ జీవితానికి ఎంతవరకు సంబంధం కలిగి ఉంది?

అవును, పోలికలు ఉంటాయి. నేను సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్ ఇంజనీర్‌గా పనిచేశాను. సినిమా షూటింగ్‌లో ఉండగా, నేను సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్ ఇంజనీర్‌గా పనిచేసిన రోజులను గుర్తుచేసుకున్నాను. అప్పుడు చెన్నైలో జాబ్ చేశాను. నాకు అక్కడి భాష తెలియదు. పల్లెటూరి నుండి వచ్చిన నాకు కెఫెటేరియా ఎలా ఉంటుందో కూడా తెలియదు. ఆ వర్క్ కల్చర్, ఆఫీస్ పద్ధతులు మొదలైనవాటికి అలవాటు పడటం నాకు చాలా కష్టమైంది. వాటన్నింటినీ సినిమాలో చూపించారు.

రత్నం కృష్ణ కథ చెప్పినప్పుడు.. మిమ్మల్ని ఈ సినిమాను అంగీకరించేలా చేసింది ఏమిటి?

2021లో నేను రత్నం కృష్ణను కలవడం జరిగింది. కథ మంచి విజువల్-కామెడీ డ్రామాగా రూపొందే అవకాశం ఉందని నేను నమ్మాను. సినిమా అంతా సరదాగా సాగిపోతుంది. వెన్నెల కిషోర్ బాలీవుడ్‌ కాస్టింగ్ డైరెక్టర్‌ రోల్ చేశారు. అతను ప్రతిరోజూ ఒక అమ్మాయిని గదికి తీసుకువస్తాడు మరియు అతను నన్ను ఎదుర్కొన్న ప్రతిసారీ సంగీతాన్ని ఎదుర్కొంటాడు. ఈ సంఘటనలన్నీ నవ్వు తెప్పిస్తాయి. నటులు వైవా హర్ష, సుబ్బరాజు ట్రాక్ లు కూడా ఎంతో కామెడీగా ఉంటాయి.

Starring actors Kiran Abbavaram Neha Sshetty in the lead roles, the much-awaited movie Rules Ranjann is scheduled to arrive in theatres worldwide on October 6. Ahead of the film’s release, protagonist Kiran Abbavaram spoke to journalists on Wednesday. Here are the excerpts from the interview.

What kind of a rulebook does Rules Ranjann follow?

Don’t go by the title Rules Ranjann, there is nothing specific as far as rules are concerned, the film is a wholesome comedy. I’ve been saying this ever since we kickstarted the promotional activity. Audiences should only expect unlimited comedy. Like the way you people felt watching the trailer, I can say audiences keep laughing at the situational comedy for the entire runtime of two hours and thirty minutes.

Rules Ranjann is directed by Rathinam Krishna, the son of prominent producer-director A.M Rathnam, produced by Murali Krishna Vemuri and Divyang Lavania under the banner Star Light Entertainment Pvt Ltd. It also features Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Viva Harsha, Hyper Aadhi, Meher Chahal, Ajay, Makarand Deshpande, Atul Parchure, Annu Kapoor and Abhimanyu Singh in key roles.

Q) Comedy films have come and gone, what’s new that Rules Ranjann would dish out on the platter?

It is for the first time, I shared screen space with actors like Vennela Kishore and Hyper Aadhi. All my earlier films were all subject-driven and had less scope for comedy. This story of Rules Ranjann has situational comedy where you unknowingly fall in love with characters that keep chipping in at regular intervals. Comedy is more injected into the drama.

Tell us more about your character in the film.

Basically, Mano Ranjan is an innocent chap. I was a little soft in ‘Raja Varu Rani Garu’. You must have come across a few children who are nursed so carefully and affectionately, nursed within the precincts of his house. All comforts are at their disposal. So Mano Ranjan is someone who had that kind of upbringing. He doesn’t know how to react if someone blames him.

When he faces certain situations, he places rules on the people who restrict him. That’s the most entertaining part in the film. When everything goes smoothly, a girl enters into his life. How does Mano Ranjan turn into Rules Ranjann? How entertaining his life is going to be further is the story.

You were a software engineer earlier before coming to the film industry. How relatable is this character to your real life?

Yes, quite relatable. I worked as a software engineer. While shooting the film, I recalled the days back in the past as a software engineer. The working days in Chennai. I wouldn’t know the language there. Hailing from a rural village, I was not even aware of how a cafeteria would be. It was difficult for me to adapt to that work culture, office etiquette, etc. All those have been incorporated into the film.

What made you accept the film when Rathinam Krishna narrated the story to you?

It was during 2021, I happened to meet Rathinam Krishna. I believe the story has the potential to become a good visual-comedy drama. It’s a fun riot all the while. Vennela Kishore plays the casting director in Bollywood. He would bring a girl every day to the room and face the music every time he encountered me. These situations evoke laughter throughout. Even the tracks of actors Viva Harsha and Subbaraju.

ఇప్పుడు తెలుగు పరిశ్రమలో కాలేజ్ సినిమాలు చాలా అరుదుగా వస్తున్నాయి. మళ్ళీ వాటికి జీవం పోయడమే లక్ష్యంగా మ్యాడ్ వస్తుంది. జాతిరత్నాలు చిత్రానికి పనిచేసిన కళ్యాణ్ శంకర్, ఈ సినిమాలో కూడా అదే తరహా హాస్యాన్ని తెరపైకి తెచ్చినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.

ట్రైలర్ లో జోక్ లు కొత్తగా అనిపిస్తున్నాయి. నటీనటుల ఎంపిక కూడా చక్కగా కుదిరింది. ట్రైలర్ చూస్తుంటే ఈ చిత్రం యువతను విశేషంగా ఆకట్టుకుంటుందనే నమ్మకం కలుగుతోంది.

Man of Masses Jr. NTR releases Sithara Entertainments’ MAD theatrical trailer

Man of Masses NTR has been highly friendly and appreciative about young and new talents in the Film Industry.

Extending his support to the youngsters Narne Nithiin, Sangeeth Shobhan, Ram Nithin, Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Gopikaa Udyan, he released the MAD caper theatrical trailer at 10:18 AM on 3rd October.

The trailer showcases how college students behave while exploring their Hostel days and Lectures, in a fun and no-holds-barred humorous way. MAD makers have made it clear that film is made by the youth, for the youth, giving them a relatable fun ride at the theatres.

As college films have become rare in Telugu Cinema, MAD aims to bring them back to life and Kalyan Shankar, who worked on Jathi Ratnalu, seems to have brought similar style humour to the forefront in this film.

The jokes look fresh, the actors seem to be perfectly cast and trailer promises for young audiences a highly relatable film, in recent times.

MAD is produced by debutant Haarika Suryadevara and co-produced by Sai Soujanya on Fortune Four Cinema. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is presenting the film.

MAD has music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo and two songs released from the album have become viral hits. Shamdat Sainudeen and Dinesh Krishnan B have handled cinematography for the film. Naveen Nooli edited the movie.

MAD is releasing in theatres on 6th October, worldwide.

రామ్ నితిన్: యూట్యూబ్ సిరీస్‌ లతో నా నటనా జీవితాన్ని ప్రారంభించాను. ఆ తర్వాత, హలో వరల్డ్ అనే సిరీస్ చేశాను. అది విడుదలైన రెండు రోజుల్లోనే నాగ వంశీ గారి నుంచి నాకు కాల్ వచ్చింది. ఒక ప్రముఖ ప్రొడక్షన్ హౌస్ నుండి ఆఫర్ రావడం, స్క్రిప్ట్ నచ్చడంతో వెంటనే ఓకే చేశాను.

మ్యాడ్ సినిమాలో 2007లో వచ్చిన శేఖర్ కమ్ముల ‘హ్యాపీ డేస్‌’ వైబ్స్ కనిపిస్తున్నాయి . సినిమా ఎలా ఉండబోతుంది?

సంగీత్ శోభన్: హ్యాపీ డేస్ విడుదలై 15 ఏళ్లు దాటింది. అది అప్పటి యువత సినిమా. కానీ ఈ సినిమా కామెడీ ఈ జనరేషన్ కి కనెక్ట్ అయ్యేలా ఉంటుంది. ఇన్‌స్టాగ్రామ్, ఫేస్‌బుక్, ట్విట్టర్‌లను ఎంజాయ్ చేసే ట్రెండ్ ఈ తరం వారిది. మ్యాడ్ ఈ తరహా కామెడీని కలిగి ఉంటుంది. కాలేజీ సెటప్ సాధారణం. కానీ కామెడీ మాత్రం నేటి ప్రపంచానికి తగ్గట్టుగా కొత్తగా ఉంటుంది. థియేటర్‌లలో ఫుల్‌ లాఫ్‌ హంగామా ఉంటుంది.

తన సోదరుడు సంతోష్‌ బిగ్ స్క్రీన్ పై పరిచయమైనప్పుడు నేను చిన్న పిల్లాడిని అని సంగీత్ అన్నారు. “ప్రభాస్ గారు మా అన్నయ్యను లాంచ్ చేసినప్పుడు నేను చిన్నపిల్లవాడిని. మా నాన్న ప్రభాస్ అన్నతో కలిసి పనిచేసినందున, ఆయన యూవీ క్రియేషన్స్ ద్వారా మాకు సపోర్ట్ గా నిలబడ్డారు. ఆయన మా కుటుంబంతో ఉన్నందుకు సంతోషంగా ఉంది.”

సంగీత్ మాట్లాడుతూ, “జాతిరత్నాలు చిత్రానికి కేవీ అనుదీప్, మ్యాడ్ దర్శకుడు కళ్యాణ్ శంకర్ సంయుక్తంగా స్క్రిప్ట్ రాసుకున్నారు. అలా ఆ పోలిక వచ్చింది. అలాగే నాగ వంశీ గారు
ఈ సినిమా కూడా జాతి రత్నాలు తరహాలోనే అందరూ చూసి హాయిగా నవ్వుకునేలా ఉంటుందని చెప్పే ఉద్దేశంతో జాతి రత్నాలతో పోల్చారు. మ్యాడ్ లో అనుదీప్ సరదా పాత్రలో నటించారు. దర్శకుడికి మంచి స్నేహితుడు కాబట్టి ఆ పాత్రలో నటించడానికి అంగీకరించారు.

ప్రేక్షకులను పిచ్చెక్కించే హాస్యం ఉన్నందున ఈ చిత్రానికి మ్యాడ్ అని పేరు పెట్టినట్లు రామ్ నితిన్ తెలిపారు. “మంచి చిత్రానికి మ్యాడ్ అనేది ఒక కాంప్లిమెంట్. అది మ్యాడ్ గా ఉండాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. మీరు మనస్ఫూర్తిగా నవ్వే ఏ సినిమా అయినా అది ఆనందాన్ని కలిగిస్తుంది. డిజె టిల్లు దర్శకుడు విమల్ కృష్ణ స్క్రిప్ట్ విన్న తర్వాత “మ్యాడ్” అని చెప్పాడు. దర్శకుడు మ్యాడ్ అనే టైటిల్ ని అలా తీసుకున్నారు. సినిమాలో పాత్రలన్నీ బాగుంటాయి. పాత్రల మధ్య కెమిస్ట్రీ, ఫ్రెండ్ షిప్ చూడటానికి సరదాగా ఉంటుంది.”

సినిమాలో నటించడం కంటే ప్రేక్షకులను మరింతగా అలరించాలనే కోరిక ఉందని సంగీత్ తెలిపారు. ” కొత్తవారి సినిమాలు చూడటానికి ప్రేక్షకులు అంతగా రారు. మంచి ఎనర్జీని తీసుకొస్తే తప్ప, ముగ్గురు యువకులు నటించిన చిత్రాన్ని తెరపై చూడడానికి ఎవరూ పట్టించుకోరు. కాబట్టి ఆడియన్స్ లో సినిమా పట్ల ఒక ప్రకంపనను సృష్టించడం మా బాధ్యత. కాలేజీ కుర్రాళ్ల సరదాలను చూడటానికి థియేటర్‌లకు రండి. పాత్రలను లోతుగా అర్థం చేసుకోవడానికి దర్శకుడు కళ్యాణ్‌తో నిరంతరం చర్చించాం. అది మాలోని ఉత్తమమైన నటనను బయటకు తీసుకురావడానికి సహాయపడింది.”

గోపికా ఉద్యాన్ తాను రాధ అనే పాత్ర పోషించానని వివరించారు. “సినిమాలో నేను కీలక పాత్ర పోషించాను. రాధ చిన్న టౌన్ నుండి నగరంలోని కాలేజీలో చదువుకోవడానికి వస్తుంది. రాధ మరియు సంగీత్ పోషించిన పాత్ర చిన్ననాటి స్నేహితులు. వారు మొదటిసారి కాలేజీకి వచ్చారు. కళాశాల జీవితంలో వారికి ఎలాంటి అనుభవాలు ఎదురయ్యాయి అనేది కథలో సారాంశం” అన్నారు. నిర్మాత హారిక గారి గురించి గోపిక మాట్లాడుతూ, “ఆమె కూడా మ్యాడ్ సినిమాతో అరంగేట్రం చేస్తున్నారు. బెస్ట్ పార్ట్ ఏంటంటే మేమంతా ఒకే ఏజ్ గ్రూప్‌కి చెందినవాళ్లం. నిర్మాతతో కలిసి పనిచేయడం, మాట్లాడటం చాలా బాగుంది. ఆమె ప్రతిరోజూ సెట్స్‌ కి వచ్చేవారు. ఆమె తాను నిర్మాత అనే ఫీలింగ్ ఎప్పుడూ చూపించేవారు కాదు. భవిష్యత్తులో ఆమె మరిన్ని ప్రాజెక్ట్‌లు చేస్తారని ఆశిస్తున్నాను.”

కామెడీ జానర్స్‌లో వచ్చే చిత్రాలకు సంగీతం యొక్క ప్రాముఖ్యత గురించి సంగీత్ ప్రత్యేకంగా మాట్లాడాడు. “సంగీతం సినిమాకి ఆత్మ. భీమ్స్ సిసిరోలియో అద్భుతమైన సంగీతాన్ని అందించారు. ముఖ్యంగా మేము కళాశాలలో ప్రవేశించే సన్నివేశాలలో సంగీతం అద్భుతం.”

ఈ పాత్రలన్నీ దర్శకుడు కళ్యాణ్‌ మ్యాడ్ నెస్ తో వచ్చినవేనని రామ్‌ నితిన్‌ అన్నారు. “ఆయన సెట్స్‌లో మ్యాడెస్ట్ పర్సన్. కళాశాల సమయంలో అతని వ్యక్తిగత అనుభవాల నుంచి ఈ కథ, సినిమా రూపొందించబడ్డాయి. మ్యాడ్ అనేది లైఫ్ కామెడీలో భాగంగా ఉంటుంది.”

Mad is going to be a slice-of-life comedy in theatres: Sangeeth Shoban, Ram Nithin, Gopika Udyan

Starring actors Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, Ram Nithin, Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananathika Sanilkumar, Gopikaa Udyan, comedy entertainer Mad is hitting screens worldwide on October 6.

Directed by Kalyan Shankar, the film is produced jointly by Haarika Suryadevara & Sai Soujanya under the banner Haarika & Hassine Creations and Sithara Entertainments.

Ahead of the film’s release, the lead actors Sangeeth Shoban, Ram Nithin, and Gopika Udyan caught up with web media journalists on Tuesday to share their experiences working with the film project.

After making a splash with web series Oka Chinna Family Story, actor Sangeeth Shoban is upbeat about his upcoming comedy ‘Mad’. “Naga Vamsi garu initially contacted me stating there is a hilarious story and shall go ahead once I listen to the script. Just five minutes into the story, the college vibe and humour impressed me. Because it’s been so many years since a story of this sort has come up in Tollywood. The very next day, I was on board. Through Oka Chinna Family Story I got this offer. Certainly, it was the base to gain an entry into mainstream cinema,” he added.

Ram Nithin: I started my acting career with a YouTube series. Later, I’ve done a series named Hello World. Within two days after it was out, I got a call from Naga Vamsi garu. For me, getting on offer from a popular production house was a shot in the arm. I instantly okayed it because of the script.

Female lead in Mad, Gopika Udyan: I am Malayali, settled in Dubai. I am debuting in Telugu with Mad. I have done a feature film in Malayalam with Asif Ali. I came into Mad through Instagram. The narration was done through Zoom call, I okayed the script soon after listening to it.

Mad seems to have the vibes of Sekhar Kammula’s film Happy Days that came out in 2007. What kind of flavour does it have?

Sangeeth Shoban: I already said this in press meet recently. It’s been more than 15 years since the movie was released. Comedy and humour belong to that generation. Happy Days can be relatable to that era of youngsters. But now, the trend of enjoying Instagram, facebook and Twitter belongs to this generation. Mad would have this style of comedy. The humour would have references of the popular culture of today’s world. This is the major difference in comedy, the college setup is quite common. But Mad will have an absolute laugh riot in theatres.

Speaking about his elder brother Santosh Shoban, who has already made a mark in Tollywood, Sangeeth says, “My brother Santosh struggled a lot to attain what he is now in Tollywood. And I am not before you after making a debut with a webseries. OTT is a blessing for young actors like me. Back in those days, if one had to become an actor there was no alternative to the big screen. But now OTT is helping everyone out. I am proud of what my brother has achieved.”

Sangeeth said that he was a child when his brother Santosh was launched on the big screen. “I was a kid when Prabhas garu launched my brother. Since my father had worked with Prabhas anna, he came to us and gave an encouraging gesture by backing up from UV Creations. I am happy that their presence is with my family.”

Mad is being compared with the likes of Jathi Ratnalu, what’s your take on it?
Sangeeth says,” It’s because KV Anudeep and Mad director Kalyan Shankar have jointly written the script of Jathi Ratnalu. Thus a comparison came up. Naga Vamsi garu just wanted to pull his leg during the press meet recently. He meant that Mad would be as light-hearted as Jathi Ratnalu, that’s the reason the film was compared with Jathi Ratnalu. Anudeep played a fun character in Mad. He agreed to play the role because he is a good friend of the director.

Ram Nithin said the film is titled Mad because it has the humour that makes audiences go mad. “Mad is a compliment to a good film. It need not necessarily be mad. Any film that you laugh wholeheartedly watching while it might evoke a feeling of joy. It was DJ Tillu’s director Vimal Krishna who said the script was “Mad” after hearing from Kalyan. So eventually, the director took the word mad and coined the same to it. All the three characters played by me, Sangeeth, Narne Nithin will have a proper bromance in the film. And how these chaps bump into three good-looking ladies Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananathika Sanilkumar, Gopikaa Udyan and the chemistry and friendship between them will be fun to watch.”

Sangeeth said that he wanted to entertain audiences more than acting in the film. “I could have played the character more subtly. There are no audiences for newcomers. Unless we bring out good energy, no one cares to watch a film starring three young chaps on the screen. So our responsibility is to create a vibe that people should come to theatres to watch the fun of college boys. We would constantly discuss with director Kalyan to understand the characters in depth. That way it helped to bring the best out of us.”

Gopika Udyan explained that she plays a character named Radha. “I am playing a vital role in the movie. Radha comes from a small town to study at a city college. Radha and the character played by Sangeeth are childhood friends. They come to college for the first time. And what kind of experiences they face during their college life is the story in gist,” she added. Speaking about the producer Haarika garu, Gopika said, “Yes, she too is debuting with the movie Mad. And the best part is we all belong to the same age group. It’s great to work with the producer, to vibe with, to talk with. She would come to the sets every day. She never had that producer-wala feeling. I hope she gets to do more projects in the future.”

Sangeeth highlighted the importance of music for films that come under the comedy genres. “Music is the soul I would say. Bheems Ceciroleo has given amazing music, especially to the scenes when we enter the college.”

Ram Nithin said all the characters came from the madness of the director Kalyan. “He is the maddest person on the sets. The movie and the story are actually conceptualized through his personal experiences during college. Mad is going to be a slice of life comedy.”

వరుస విజయాలతో తెలుగులో మీరు ఘనమైన ప్రారంభాన్ని పొందారని భావిస్తున్నారా?

ఖచ్చితంగా చెప్పలేను, ఇంకా సాధించాల్సింది చాలా ఉందని నేను భావిస్తున్నాను. కానీ చాలా తక్కువ సమయంలో నేను సాధించిన దాని పట్ల చాలా సంతోషంగా, కృతజ్ఞతతో ఉన్నాను.

డీజే టిల్లుతో మీ కెరీర్ ఒక్కసారిగా మలుపు తిరిగింది, దాన్ని మీరెలా చూస్తున్నారు?

నా మొదటి సినిమా మెహబూబా విజయం సాధించలేదు. ఆ తర్వాత నేను యాక్టింగ్‌ కోర్స్ కోసం న్యూయార్క్‌ వెళ్లాను. నేను ఎన్నో ఆశలతో మళ్ళీ ఇండియాకి తిరిగి వచ్చాను. కానీ కోవిడ్ లాక్‌డౌన్ కారణంగా మరికొంత కాలం వేచి ఉండాల్సి వచ్చింది. అప్పుడే నాకు డీజే టిల్లులో రాధిక క్యారెక్టర్ ఆఫర్ వచ్చింది. సినిమా థియేటర్లలో విడుదలయ్యాక, ప్రేక్షకులు వెంటనే ఆ పాత్రతో కనెక్ట్ అయ్యారు. ప్రేక్షకులు ఆదరించిన తీరు ఎంతో సంతోషాన్ని ఇచ్చింది.

రూల్స్ రంజన్‌లో మీ పాత్ర గత చిత్రాల కంటే భిన్నంగా ఉంటుందా?

రూల్స్ రంజన్‌లో నేను సన పాత్ర పోషించాను. డీజే టిల్లులో రాధికలాగా సనాది స్వార్థపూరిత పాత్ర కాదు. ఆమె తిరుపతికి చెందిన సంతోషకరమైన అమ్మాయి. ఆమె సాహసోపేతమైనది మరియు ప్రపంచాన్ని అన్వేషించాలని కోరుకుంటుంది. పాత్ర పరంగా సన గ్లామర్‌గా ఉంటుంది. అందమైన, బబ్లీ మరియు పక్కింటి అమ్మాయి తరహా పాత్ర.

సంగీత దర్శకుడు అమ్రిష్ తో పని చేయడం ఎలా అనిపించింది?

అంతకుముందు సంగీత దర్శకుడు అమ్రిష్‌ని నేను వ్యక్తిగతంగా కలవలేదు. ప్రెస్ మీట్‌లు, ప్రచార కార్యక్రమాల సమయంలోనే చూశాను. ఆయన పాటలు విని, మీ అందరిలాగే నేనూ ఫ్యాన్ అయ్యాను. ఆయన సంగీతం అందించిన విధానం అద్భుతం. నేను మేము ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్‌ను రూపొందించగలిగాము అంటే దీనికి కారణం టీమ్ అని నేను భావిస్తున్నాను. అమ్రీష్, రత్నం కృష్ణ, కిరణ్ అబ్బవరం అందరూ కలిసి ప్రాజెక్ట్‌ను పూర్తి చేశారు.

రూల్స్ రంజన్ లో రొమాంటిక్ ట్రాక్‌ కొత్తగా ఉండబోతుందా?

రూల్స్ రంజన్ కథ భిన్నంగా ఉంటుంది. అందులో సంఘర్షణ ఉంది. కామెడీ ఉంది. ఇది రొటీన్ అబ్బాయి-అమ్మాయిల కథ కాదు. ఇది ఆకర్షణీయమైన లవ్ థీమ్‌ను కలిగి ఉంది. దానిని విభిన్నంగా మలిచారు. నా గత చిత్రాల మాదిరిగానే ప్రేక్షకులు ఈ చిత్రాన్ని ఆదరిస్తారని నేను నమ్ముతున్నాను.

రూల్స్ రంజన్‌లో మీకు ఛాలెంజింగ్ గా అనిపించింది ఏంటి?

సమ్మోహనుడా పాటకి డ్యాన్స్ చేయడమే అత్యంత ఛాలెంజింగ్ టాస్క్. మీరు పాటను గమనిస్తే, నేను నిప్పులో, నీటిలో, పువ్వుల మధ్య మరియు కొలను పక్కన నృత్యం చేయాల్సి వచ్చింది. చిత్రీకరణ చాలా కఠినంగా ఉంది. విలువైనవి ఛాలెంజింగ్ గా ఉంటాయి. కానీ చివరికి శ్రమకి దానికి తగ్గ ఫలితం లభిస్తుంది.

కిరణ్ అబ్బవరంతో కెమిస్ట్రీ ఎలా వర్కవుట్ అయింది?

నటుడిగా కిరణ్ చాలా కూల్. అతను సెట్స్‌లో వినయంగా, కామ్ గా ఉంటాడు. నేను మాత్రం పూర్తి వ్యతిరేకం (నవ్వుతూ). కెమెరా ముందు ఫ్రీగా ఉండాలని సెట్స్ లో సరదాగా మాట్లాడిస్తాను. దర్శకుడు, ఇతర నటీనటులతో కూడా అలాగే చేస్తాను. ఇక వెన్నెల కిషోర్ గారు సెట్స్‌ లో ఉండటం చాలా సరదాగా ఉంటుంది.

రూల్స్ రంజన్ నాకు హ్యాట్రిక్ అవుతుందా అని కాస్త భయపడుతున్నాను. కానీ నిస్సందేహంగా చెప్పగలను. మేమందరం చాలా చక్కగా పని చేసి, ఓ మంచి ఎంటర్‌టైనర్‌ను రూపొందించాము. కానీ నాలో కాస్త టెన్షన్ ఉంది. DJ టిల్లు తర్వాత, బెదురులంక 2012లో సంప్రదాయ కుటుంబానికి చెందిన అందమైన, పల్లెటూరి అమ్మాయిగా నేను చేసిన పాత్రను ప్రేక్షకులు ఎలా రిసీవ్ చేసుకుంటారనే అనుమానం నాకు కలిగింది. అభిమానులు నన్ను ఆదరిస్తారా అనే సందేహం వచ్చింది. కానీ థియేటర్లలో విడుదలయ్యాక నా అనుమానాలన్నీ బద్దలయ్యాయి. సన పాత్ర కూడా తప్పకుండా అభిమానులను అలరిస్తుందని నేను నమ్ముతున్నాను.

గతంలో వాన పాటలు బాగా పాపులర్. ఇప్పుడు మీరు నటించిన వాన పాటకు లభిస్తున్న ఆదరణ ఎలా అనిపిస్తుంది?

వాన పాటల విషయానికి వస్తే, నాకు అలనాటి తార దివంగత శ్రీదేవి గుర్తుకు వస్తారు. నేను ఆమెకి పెద్ద అభిమానిని. చాలా చిన్న వయస్సులో తన సినీ జీవితాన్ని ప్రారంభించిన ఆమె, ఎలాంటి హద్దులు లేకుండా ఉన్నత స్థాయికి చేరారు. అలాంటి నటిగా పేరు తెచ్చుకోవాలి అనుకుంటున్నాను. నా మొదటి పాటలో రెయిన్ సీక్వెన్స్ ఉండడం, ఆ పాటకి ఈ స్థాయి స్పందన లభిస్తుండటం చాలా ఆనందంగా ఉంది.

‘Rules Ranjann’ has a captivating love theme treated so uniquely: Neha Sshetty

Actress Neha Sshetty is playing the character named Sana in the much-awaited movie Rules Ranjann which is scheduled to hit screens worldwide on October 6.

Starring Neha and Kiran Abbavaram in the lead roles, the film also stars Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Viva Harsha, Hyper Aadhi, Meher Chahal, Ajay, Makarand Deshpande, Atul Parchure, Annu Kapoor and Abhimanyu Singh in key roles. The film is directed by Rathinam Krishna, the son of prominent producer-director A.M Rathnam, and produced by Murali Krishna Vemuri and Divyang Lavania under the banner Star Light Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

Ahead of the movie’s release, the actress shared a few insights about the film and her character with the media on Monday. Here are the excerpts from the interview…

Do you think you’re off to a solid start with back-to-back successes at the Telugu box office?

I am not sure, I feel there is still more to achieve. But I am so glad and grateful for whatever I’ve achieved in a very short span of time.

Your career took a sharp turn with DJ Tillu, how do you see it?

DJ Tillu came as one full circle because I started with Mahbooba which didn’t work well. Then I flew to New York to study film acting. I returned to India with hopes aplenty, immediately the Covid-induced lockdown came as a death knell. I had to wait for some more time. That was when I was offered the character Radhika in DJ Tillu. When the film was released in theatres, audiences instantly got connected with the character. I am happy with the way it was received by audiences.

How is your character in Rules Ranjann different from the previous movies?

I play the character Sana in Rules Ranjann. Sana is not a selfish character like Radhika in DJ Tillu. She is a happy-go-lucky girl hailing from Tirupati. She is adventurous and wants to explore the world. As a character, Sana is glamorous. She is cute, bubbly and a girl-next-door character. How does she bump into Mano Ranjan (played by Kiran Abbavaram)? How the journey sets into motion in the story that has thrills and frills.

Have you found anyone who shares similar characteristics of Rules Ranjann in your real life?

I think it is the director Rathinam Krishna who goes by his set of rules at any given time. He would have a fixed daily routine when he steps onto the sets. He is so focused. That’s because of being born in a filmy-background family. He would have a clear idea of what he has to do.

Music director Amrish’s name is trending of late, for the music that he scored for Sammohanuda single, on social media. How it has been to work with him?

I’ve not met music composer Amrish personally. All I know about him through press meets and promotional events of Rules Ranjann. Like you all, I became a fan after hearing his work. The way he scored the music is amazing. I am ever grateful for him. I feel it is because of the team we could make this project happen. Amrish, Shreya Goshal, Rathinam Krishna, Kiran Abbavaram — all came together to make the project happen.

How different is Rules Ranjann as far as the romantic track is concerned?

A love story is a common ingredient in any commercial potboiler. Rules Ranjann, the whole story is quite different. There is a conflict in it. There is a comedy. It is not the routine boy-meets-girl story. It has a captivating love theme, treated so uniquely. I am sure audiences would enjoy the film as much as they enjoyed my previous films.

What’s the most challenging part in Rules Ranjann for you?

The most challenging task is to dance to the Sammohanuda single. If you observe the song, I had to dance in the fire, water, amidst flowers, and by the poolside. Quite a few interesting things I had to try. The picturisation was quite tough. But in the end, it’s all worth it. Otherwise not all challenging.

Could you share how the chemistry worked out with Kiran Abbavaram?

As an actor Kiran is so cool. As a person, he is polite, humble, quiet and calm on the sets. And I am the opposite (laughs). Even after going on to the sets, I would ask him about his day. Just to have a good-laugh-out conversation to have a bit of ease into it before rolling the camera. And I do the same with the director and other actors. And having Vennela Kishore garu on the sets is pure fun.

How do you feel ahead of Rules Ranjann’s release on October 6?

I am nervous whether Rules Ranjann will be a hat trick one for me. No doubt, we all have worked out pretty well, bringing out a wholesome entertainer. But there is a slight nervousness in me. After DJ Tillu, I was skeptical how audiences would receive my character in Bedurulanka 2012, donning a cute, village girl from a conservative family. I had the doubt whether fans would accept me. But my inhibitions were all shattered when it was released in theatres. I am sure the character Sana would surely strike a chord with fans.

Rain songs were quite popular in the past. Now the rain song featuring you has become famous of late. How do you feel?

When it comes to rain songs, famous yesteryear star late Sridevi comes to my mind. I’ve been a big fan of her work. She never had boundaries after starting her film career at a very young age. సుప్రసిద్థ నిర్మాత ఏ.ఎం. రత్నం సమర్పణలో స్టార్‌లైట్‌ ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్‌ పతాకంపై దివ్యాంగ్‌ లవానియా, మురళి కృష్ణ వేమూరి నిర్మిస్తున్న చిత్రం ‘రూల్స్‌ రంజన్‌’. కిరణ్‌ అబ్బవరం, నేహా శెట్టి జంటగా నటిస్తున్న ఈ చిత్రానికి రత్నం కృష్ణ దర్శకత్వం వహిస్తున్నారు. రింకు కుక్రెజ సహ నిర్మాతగా వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారు. అమ్రిష్‌ గణేష్‌ సంగీతం అందిస్తున్నారు. అక్టోబర్‌ 6న విడుదల కానున్న ఈ చిత్రం ప్రీ రిలీజ్‌ వేడుక శనివారం హైదరాబాద్‌లో ఘనంగా జరిగింది.చిత్ర యూనిట్ సభ్యులు, అభిమానులు, శ్రేయోభిలాషుల సమక్షంలో ఈ వేడుక వైభవంగా జరిగింది. సుప్రసిద్ధ నిర్మాతలు ఏ ఎం రత్నం, అంబికా కృష్ణ, దర్శకుడు అనుదీప్ లు ప్రత్యేక అతిథులుగా అలరించారు.

అంబికా కృష్ణ మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘నిర్మాతలతో ఏడాదిగా పరిచయం ఉంది. మంచి మనసున్న నిర్మాతలు. ‘రూల్స్‌ రంజన్‌’ పాటలు చాలా నచ్చాయి. ఈ మధ్యకాలంలో వచ్చే చిత్రాల్లో పాటలు ఆకట్టుకుంటే సినిమా హిట్‌ అయినట్లే. తెలుగు సినిమా చరిత్ర అనే పుస్తకం ఉంటే అందులో ఎ.ఎం.రత్నం గారికి తప్పకుండా ఒక పేజీ ఉంటుంది. అద్భుతమైన సినిమాలు తీశారు. ఎన్నో అద్భుతమైన పాటలు రాశారు. ఆయన తనయుడు తీసిన ఈ చిత్రం పక్కా హిట్‌ అవుతుంది. కిరణ్‌ అబ్బవరం వినయం ఉన్న హీరో. భవిష్యత్తులో మంచి హీరో అవుతాడు. నేహాశెట్టి అందం, అభినయంతో ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది. నవ్వులు పువ్వులు పూయించే చిత్రమిది’’ అని అన్నారు.

సంగీత దర్శకుడు అమ్రిష్‌ మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘ఎ.ఎంరత్నంగారు ఆ పేరులోనే ఒక వైబ్రేషన్‌ ఉంటుంది. ఆయన నాకు ఇచ్చిన గొప్ప అవకాశమిది. హైపర్‌ ఆది కామెడీ కుమ్మేశారు. ఆయన పండించిన హాస్యానికి రీ రికార్డింగ్‌ చేయలేకపోయా. సెకెండాఫ్‌లో పొట్ట చెక్కలయ్యేలా నవ్విస్తారు. వెన్నెల కిశోర్‌ కూడా చక్కని పాత్ర పోషించారు. కిరణ్‌ ఎంతో ఎనర్జీగా వర్క్‌ చేశారు. దర్శకుడు, నిర్మాతల సపోర్ట్‌ మరువలేనిది. రత్నం కృష్ణ దర్శకుడిగా కంటే నాకు పెద ్దఅన్నలాంటి వాడు. సినిమా తెరకెక్కించడంతో ఆయన కమిట్‌మెంట్‌ నచ్చింది. ఎన్నో ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొని ఆయన ఇక్కడి దాకా వచ్చారు. నా పాటలకు కొట్టే చప్పట్లన్ని దర్శకుడికే చెందాలి. అలాగే అద్భుతమైన పాటలు రాసిన గేయ రచయితలకు కృతజ్ఞతలు. మా అమ్మ లేకపోతే నేను ఇక్కడ ఉండేవాడిని కాదు’’ అని అన్నారు.

దర్శకుడు అనుదీప్‌ కె.వి మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘ట్రైలర్‌, రష్‌ చూశా. చాలా నచ్చింది. ఈ చిత్రంతో దర్శకుడు మళ్లీ మంచి రోజులు మొదలవుతాయి. కిరణ్‌కి ఈ చిత్రం పెద్ద హిట్‌ కావాలి అని అన్నారు.

హైపర్‌ ఆది మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘తెలుగు సినిమా స్థాయిని పెంచుతున్న ప్రతి ఒక్కరికీ, ఇటీవల నేషనల్‌ అవార్డ్స్‌ అందుకున్న అందరికీ శుభాకాంక్షలు. తెలుగు సినిమా రంగం గురించి తక్కువ చేసే ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ మన సినిమా పురోగతిని చూసి అనవసరమైన మాటలు మానుకోవాలని కోరుకుంటున్నా. ఎందుకంటే మా సినిమా అందరికీ మంచే నేర్చుకుంది. కానీ చెడు నేర్పదు. పల్లెటూరు నుంచి నగరానికి వచ్చి ఆయన్నే దేవుడిగా కొలిచే స్థాయికి ఎదగిన పెద్ద ఎన్టీఆర్‌ను చూసి కృషి ఉంటే మనుషులు ఋషులు అవుతారని నేర్చుకోండి. విజయం ఎంత ముఖ్యమో, వినయం అంతే ముఖ్యమని 90 ఏళ్ల జీవితం, 75 ఏళ్ల నటన జీవితం ఉన్న ఏయన్నార్‌ను చూసి నేర్చుకోండి. అల్లూరి సీతారామరాజు లాంటి చిత్రాలు తీసి ఈ రోజుల్లో తెలుగు సినిమా స్థాయిని పెంచిన, నిర్మాతకు నష్టం వస్తే డబ్బులు తిరిగిచ్చే మంచి మనసున్న కృష్ణగారిని, ఇంటికి వచ్చింది శత్రువు అయినా అన్నం పెట్టి మాట్లాడాలనే సంస్కారం ఉన్న కృష్ణంరాజుగారి నుంచి ఎంతో నేర్చుకోవాలి. సంపాదించిన డబ్బును జాగ్రత్తగా కాపాడుకుని చూపించి, ఎవరికైనా పెట్టే స్థితిలో ఉండాలి కానీ నెట్టే స్థితిలో ఉండకూడదని చెప్పి బతికినంతకాలం రాజులా బతికిన శోభన్‌బాబుగారి నుంచి నేర్చుకోవాలి. తెలుగు సినిమాలో ఏదైనా పాత్ర దక్కితే చాలనుకుని తెలుగు సినిమానే శాసించే స్థాయికి చేరిన మెగాస్టార్‌ చిరంజీవి చూసి ‘హార్డ్‌వర్క్‌ ఎప్పుడు ఫెయిల్‌ కాదని’ నేర్చుకోండి. ఆయన తల్లికి క్యాన్సర్‌ వచ్చి మరణిస్తే అలాంటి స్థితి ఏ తల్లికి రాకూడదని బసవతారకం ఆస్పత్రిని పెట్టిన బాలకృష్ణగారిని చూసి బాగా బతకడం అంటే మనం మాత్రమే కాదు.. పక్కన వాళ్లను కూడా బతికించాలని నేర్చుకోవాలి. ఆరు పదుల వయసులో కూడా ఆరోగ్యం ఉంటే అన్ని బావుంటాయని నమ్ముతూ నవ మన్మఽధుడిలా కనిపించే నాగార్జును, నాన్న గొప్పొడు నేను కాదు.. అని గ్రహించి ముందుకెళ్లే విక్టరీ వెంకటేశ్‌, తనకు జీవితం ఇచ్చిన గురువు దాసరి నారాయణరావు దైవంగా భావించే మోహన్‌బాబుగారిని చూసి గురు భక్తిని నేర్చుకోండి. ఎంతోమంది చిన్నారుల గుండెల్ని కాపాడుతున్న మహేశ్‌బాబుని చూసి చాలా నేర్చుకోవచ్చు. 10 మంది పేదల్ని ఓ పక్క, వంద కోట్ల డబ్బు ఓ పక్క పెట్టి ఏది కావాలో కోరుకో అంటే ఈ వంద కోట్లను ఆ పదిమందికి పంచి ఆకలి తీరుస్తా… వాళ్ల ఆకలి తీరితే నా ఆకలి తీరినట్లే అని భావించి పవన్‌కల్యాన్‌ని చూసి నేర్చుకోండి సంపాదించడమే కాదు.. సహాయం చేయడం కూడా ముఖ్యమని. ప్రభాస్‌, రామ్‌చరణ్‌, బన్నీ, రానా, గోపీచంద్‌, సాయిధరమ్‌ తేజ్‌, వరుణ్‌ తేజ్‌, రామ్‌, ఇలా ఇండస్ట్రీలో ప్రతి ఒక్కరి నుంచి ఏదో ఒకటి నేర్చుకోవచ్చు. మా సినిమా వాళ్ల నుంచి ఇంత ఉంది నేర్చుకోండి.. అంతే కాని సినిమా వాళ్లను కించపరచవద్దు’’ అని అన్నారు.

నిర్మాత మురళీకృష్ణ వేమూరి మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘నిర్మాణరంగంలో రత్నంగారు మాకు అండగా ఉన్నారు. దర్శకుడు వర్క్‌హాలిక్‌ పర్సన్‌. కిరణ్‌ మంచి బ్యాగ్రౌండ్‌ నుంచి వచ్చాడు. కానీ సాధారణంగా కనిపిస్తారు. నేహశెట్టి బాగా యాక్ట్‌ చేసింది. డాన్స్‌ అద్భుతంగా చేసింది’’ అని అన్నారు.

ఎ.ఎం.రత్నం మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘తెలుగువాడినై తమిళనాడులో అగ్ర నిర్మాతగా ఎదిగా. ఎన్నో విజయవంతమైన చిత్రాలు తీశా. హిందీలోనూ సక్సెస్‌ అందుకున్సా. నా ప్రతి సినిమాలో సోషల్‌ మెసేజ్‌ ఉంటుంది. సినిమా ఇండస్ట్రీలో ఉన్నందుకు గర్విస్తున్నాను. రాజకీయం, వ్యాపారం ఇలా అన్నిరంగాల మీద అవగాహన ఉన్నవాళ్లకే సినిమాల్లో చేయగలరు. సినిమా అనేది అంత ఈజీ కాదు. కాస్ట్‌లీ హాబీ. అలాగే రిస్క్‌తో కూడిన పని. కిరణ్‌ అబ్బవరంతో భవిష్యత్తులో మరో సినిమా చేస్తా. ఆ సినిమాను నేనే డైరెక్ట్‌ చేస్తా. ఈ సినిమా మాత్రం పెద్ద హిట్‌ అవుతుంది’’ అని అన్నారు.

నేహాశెట్టి మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘కథ విన్నాక ఎంతో నవ్వుకున్నాను. ‘రాధిక పాత్ర తర్వాత అంతగా గుర్తింపు తెచ్చే చిత్రమిది. పక్కా పైసా వసూల్‌ చేస్తుంది. ఇందులో సమ్మోహనుడ పాట ఎంతగా పాపులర్‌ అయిందో తెలిసిందే. ఈ చిత్రాన్ని తన బిడ్డగా భావించి బెస్ట్‌ అవుట్‌పుట్‌ కోసం నిద్ర లేని రాత్రులు గడిపాడు దర్శకుడు. కిరణ్‌ భవిష్యత్తులో పెద్ద స్టార్‌ అవుతాడు. అమ్రిష్‌ అద్భుతమైన సంగీతం ఇచ్చారు. సినిమా మ్యూజికల్‌ బ్లాక్‌బస్టర్‌ అవుతుంది. రత్నంగారు ఇచ్చిన సపోర్ట్‌ మరవలేనిది. ఈ నెల 6న సినిమా చూసి ఎంజాయ్‌ చేయండి’’ అని అన్నారు.

దర్శకుడు రత్నం కృష్ణ మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘పక్కా యూత్‌ఫుల్‌ ఎంటర్‌టైనర్‌ ఇది. కాలేజ్‌ పూర్తిగా కాగానే ఎవరికైనా జాబ్‌, శాలరీ, ఆ తర్వాత అందమైన లవర్‌ కావాలనుకుంటారు. అలాంటి కథను ఎంటర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్‌ వేలో చెప్పాం. నా గత చిత్రం యాక్షన్‌ జానర్‌లో చేశా. ఇది పక్కా ఎంటర్‌టైనర్‌గా తీశా. నాకు సీనియర్‌ ఎన్టీఆర్‌ నటించిన ‘మిస్సమ్మ’, గుండమ్మ కథ, అప్పు చేసి పప్పు కూడు వంటి చిత్రాలంటే చాలా ఇష్టం. ఆ తర్వాత పవన్‌కల్యాణ్‌ నటించిన ఖుషి, గబ్బర్‌సింగ్‌, జల్సా, అత్తారింటికి దారేది చిత్రాలు చాలా నచ్చాయి. అలాంటి చిత్రాల స్ఫూర్తితో ఈ సినిమా కామెడీగా చేశాం. నా తొలి చిత్రం 19 ఏళ్ల వయసులో చేశా. కానీ అప్పుడు నాతో పని చేసి రెహమాన్‌, తోట తరణి, పి.స్రిశీరామ్‌ వంటి సీనియర్లు పని చేశారు. ఈ చిత్రానికి నేనే సీనియర్‌ని. ఈ సినిమాకు పనిచేసిన వారంత భవిష్యత్తులో మంచి టెక్నీషియన్లు అవుతారు. వెన్నెల కిశోర్‌ పాత్ర ఈ చిత్రానికి సెకండ్‌ హీరోలాగా ఉంటుంది. వెన్నెల కిశోర్‌ ఆ పాత్ర చేయకపోతే సినిమా ఆగిపోయేదేమో. ఆది, హర్ష, వెన్నెల కిశోర్‌ కాంబినేషన్‌కు సెట్‌ చేయడానికి నాలుగు నెలలు పట్టింది. కిరణ్‌ అబ్బవరం యూట్యూబ్‌ నుంచి వచ్చి పెద్ద స్ర్కీన్‌ మీద తనెంటో నిరూపించుకున్నాడు. ఒక్క హిట్‌ వస్తేనే వెనక నలుగురు ఉంటారు. ఫ్లాప్‌ వస్తే ఎవరూ మనతో ఉండరు అదే సినిమా అంటే. ఈ సినిమా ఓకే చేసినప్పుడు ఈ సినిమాలో ది బెస్ట్‌ సాంగ్స్‌ ఉంటాయని నేహాకు చెప్పా. సమ్మోహనుడా ఆమెకు పెద్ద హిట్‌ అయింది. తల్లిదండ్రుల నుంచి అంతగా సపోర్ట్‌ చేసేది ఎవరూ ఉండరు. నాకు ఈ చిత్రంలో నిర్మాతలు నాకు అంతగా సపోర్ట్‌ చేశారు. తమిళ నటుడు వివేక్‌గారి తర్వాత అంతటి ఈజ్‌ నాకు హైపర్‌ ఆదిలో కనిపించింది. నా తొలి సినిమా నీ మనసు నాకు తెలుసు తర్వాత తెలుగులో మరో సినిమా ‘ఆక్సిజన్‌’ చేయడానికి 15 ఏళ్లు పట్టింది. ఈ గ్యాప్‌లో నాన్నకు ప్రొడక్షన్‌లో సహకరించా. ‘హరిహర వీరమల్లు’ సినిమా చేస్తూ బయటకు వచ్చి ఈ సినిమా చేశా. ఈ సినిమా హిట్‌ కొడితే మీ నాన్న హిట్‌ అయినట్లే అని బయట చాలామంది అన్నారు. అయితే మా నాన్నఎప్పుడు సక్సెస్‌ఫుల్‌ పర్సన్‌. ఆయనకు సక్సెస్‌ కొత్తేమి కాదు. నేను సిక్స్‌ కొట్టడానికి దొరికిన లాస్ట్‌ బాల్‌ ఇది. తప్పకుండా సిక్సర్‌ కొడతా’’ అని అన్నారు.

కిరణ్‌ అబ్బవరం మాట్లాడుతూ …

‘‘స్టార్‌లైట్‌ ఎంటర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్‌ నిర్మాతలు సినిమా ప్రారంభం నేంచి మంచి సినిమా చేద్దాం అనే తపనతోనే ఉన్నారు. అలాగే ఎక్కడా కాంప్రమైజ్‌ కాకుండా మంచి సినిమా తీశారు. పూర్తిగా వినోదాత్మకంగా సాగే చిత్రమిది. నేహాశెట్టి చాలా సపోర్టివ్‌ హీరోయిన్‌. సమ్మోహనుడా పాటకు ఎంతో ఎఫర్ట్‌ పెట్టింది. సినిమాలో చూశాక ఈ పాట మరింత నచ్చుతుంది. నేహాను బాగా ఇష్టపడుతుంటారు. ఈ సినిమా చేసే ప్రాసెస్‌లో నాకు మంచి వ్యక్తుల్ని కలిశాను. ఇండస్ట్రీలో ఏదో సాధించాలని తమ ఊర్లను వదిలి వచ్చిన అందరితో మంచి జ్ఞాపకాలు దొరికాయి. దర్శకుడు రత్నం కృష్ణ పట్టువదలని విక్రమార్కుడు. నేను నటించిన ఫస్ట్‌ అవుట్‌ అండ్‌ అవుట్‌ కామెడీ సినిమా ఇది. ఈ సినిమా సక్సెస్‌ క్రెడిట్‌ అంతా దర్శకుడికే చెందుతుంది. అక్టోబర్‌ 6న వస్తున్న ఈ చిత్రానికి కుటుంబ సమేతంగా చూడండి. గడిచిన మూడేళ్లగా ఎన్నో ఎత్తుపల్లాలను చూశా. ఆ సమయంలో అభిమానులు అండగా ఉన్నారు. అభిమానులు ఇచ్చిన సపోర్ట్‌కు ఏడాది సమంలో మంచి విజయాలను అందిస్తా. అందరూ గర్వించేలా చేస్తాను’’ అని అన్నారు.

గేయ రచయిత రాంబాబు గోశాల మాట్లాడుతూ ‘‘చిన్నప్పుడు ఎ.ఎంరత్నం సమర్పించు అనే టైటిల్‌ చూడగానే చాలా గొప్పగా సినిమా అని భావించేవాళ్లం. ఆ బ్యానర్‌లో పాట రాయాలనే కోరిక రత్నం కృష్ణ వల్ల తీరింది. ఇందులో నేను రాసిన ‘సమ్మోహనుడా’, నాలో నేనే లేను అనే రెండు పాటలు రాశా. రెండూ పెద్ద హిట్‌ అయ్యాయి. సినిమా కూడా అంతే రేంజ్‌లో హిట్‌ అవుతుందని ఆశిస్తున్నా. రత్నంకృష్ణ చక్కని పాటలు రాయించుకున్నారు. ఆయన చాలా సపోర్ట్‌గా ఉన్నారు. నేను రాసిన ‘అర్జున్‌రెడ్డి’, ‘కాంతార’ చిత్రాల తర్వాత అంత పెద్ద హిట్‌ అయ్యే చిత్రమిది’’ అని అన్నారు.

As Kiran Abbavaram’s much-awaited flick Rules Ranjann is arriving on October 6, the entire team celebrated the pre-release event on Saturday here in Hyderabad. Starring Kiran Abbavaram and Neha Shetty in the lead roles, Rules Ranjan is directed by Rathinam Krishna and produced by Divyang Lavania and Murali Krishnaa Vemuri under the banner Star Light Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

Other actors also include Meher Chahal, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Hyper Aadhi, Viva Harsha, Annu Kapoor, Atul Parchure, Ajay, Makarand Deshpande and Abhimanyu Singh.

AM Rathnam: First I should thank the producers for bankrolling Rules Ranjann keeping faith in my son Rathinam Krishna’s vision. I’ve seen the movie, and it’s pleasantly entertaining. If songs are catching the attention of film lovers, the movie has made half the mark towards becoming a blockbuster. I’ve been in the film industry for more than 50 years. I worked with AR Rehman and other biggies of the industry. I even worked under legendary actor NT Rama Rao garu. I’ve worked with mythological films, socio-fantasies and crime thrillers in the past, later because of the advanced technology our Telugu film industry could make films on a massive scale. Actually, when the story was narrated to Kiran Abbavaram, everyone thought I would produce the film. I am sure I will plan a movie which I will direct Kiran and also produce it.

Neha Sshetty: I thank all Telugu audiences for the love, support and appreciation. And those who made the signature step of Sammohanam went viral on social media. After my character as Radhika, this is happening for the second time. Rules Ranjann is a complete paisa vasool entertainer for Telugu audiences. Director Rathinam Krishna is a very passionate filmmaker. I know how many sleepless nights he had. For more than anything else, I wish the film gives him the desired success.

Rathinam Krishna: Every youth has some ambition in his life. A good job soon after graduating from college. Kiran Abbavaram gets a cushy IT job soon after college. Some youngsters have dreams of other sorts, say a good girlfriend after getting a job. Rules Ranjann is a simple storyline told in an entertaining way. Hyper Aadi, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju Viva Harsha will thoroughly entertain audiences.

Kiran Abbavaram: I thank my producers, technicians, co-stars, artistes and director Rathinam Krishna for keeping faith in me and my efforts. I thank numerous fans who have been with me in my lows and highs. I am sure Rules Ranjann will entertain everyone.

Lyric writer Rambabu Gosala: Since childhood days, whenever we saw AM Rathnam presents we used to think the film was going to be a blockbuster. Finally, my dream came true with Rules Ranjann. It’s a great feeling to have worked with the producers of the film. I wrote the two songs — Sammohanuda and Nalo Nenu Lenu which have become chartbusters. Thanks to everyone who made them successful on social media. I wish that Rules Ranjann would become as successful as Arjun Reddy and Kanthara.

Singer Sarath Santosh: I thank the makers for offering the chance to sing the song Naalo Nenu Lenu. A special mention to music composer Amrish garu for the beautiful melody. And inputs given by director Rathinam Krishna garu have come handy for me, I am so thankful to him.

Rathinam Krishna garu through our co-director Ranganath. That’s how I happened to do this character. It was so lovely working with the director Krishna garu for the freedom that you have given to me. I wish Rules Ranjann would become a massive hit and bring money to producers. I also wish the makers should come up with another entertaining subject before audiences.

Producer Ambika Krishna: I know Murali Krishna garu and Divyang garu for the last one year. We collaborated for multiple businesses. I feel that since Murali garu speaks so many rules naturally, the film’s title is named Rules Ranjann. Songs have become a massive hit. If one has to write the history of Telugu cinema, there should be a special page dedicated to A.M Rathnam garu. What a filmography! Be it the superhit song Nelluri Nerajana.. or be it the film Bharateeyudu starring Kamal Haasan, or for that matter the blockbuster of Pawan Kalyan’s Kushi. And his son has ventured into filmmaking, I wish him good success. Amrish, the son of veteran actress Jaya Chitra, has scored the music for the songs. Kiran Abbavaram, although he is young, looks a very down-to-earth individual, and a very polite gentleman. I wish Neha Sshetty great success.

Music director Amrish: I’ve been a great fan of A.M Rathnam sir for his films irrespective of languages. Even 7G Rainbow Colony, which was re-released recently, has been a hit in theatres. I thank Rathnam sir. Hyper Aadhi garu’s comedy is amazing. As a composer, I’d been waiting for the second half to come during the re-recording work. Vennela Kishore has done an extraordinary performance. Kiran Abbavaram garu’s energy and timing are amazing. Neha Shetty garu was amazing. Singer Sharath too has done a great job. I am thankful to our makers Murali Krishna garu and Divyang Lavanya garu. I thank my mother Jaya Chitra, I would not imagine my life without her. More than a director, Rathinam Krishna is like my elder brother. He sat and spent so many hours with me in the process of making the project work.

Producer Murali Krishna Vemuri: Good evening to everyone, and thank everyone for gracing the event on this occasion. The script realisation happened with Rathinam Krishna garu and AM Rathnam garu. He is a legend in his own right. A stalwart of Telugu cinema, he has been a beacon of light. And his son Rathinam Krishna garu is so meticulous with his work. He has put in relentless efforts. Rules Ranjann is pure fun to watch on the big screen, I am sure audiences will enjoy it when the film arrives in theatres on October 6.
