Dulquer Salmaan, the highly regarded and respected Multi-lingual actor, is coming up with an extraordinary tale of a common man, Lucky Baskhar. Movie team unveiled title track of the film on the eve of actor’s birthday on 28th July.

Taking us back to late 1980′s and early 1990′s, the song is addictive. With its beats, usage of instruments and on top of it all, legendary singer Usha Uthup’s vocals make it a rocking nostalgic meal.

Lyricist Ramjaoggaya Sastry has written lyrics that are perfectly in sync with character of Dulquer Salmaan, as Lucky Baskhar, while also providing equal inspiration to the listeners.

Ace composer GV Prakash Kumar composed this song fusing Indi-rock of 1980′s with current generation sensibilities. The track feels fresh and stands out from current tracks, making it an easy addition to music lovers playlists across different languages.

Blockbuster writer-director Venky Atluri is writing and directing the film with a penchant to deliver yet another memorable Dulquer Salmaan film, who already has a esteemed list of cult classics to his name.

Meenakshi Chaudhary is playing the leading lady role opposite Dulquer Salmaan. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, respectively, are producing the film. Srikara Studios is presenting it.

Ace Production designer Banglan recreated 80′s Mumbai, then Bombay, for the film and his work would receive awards suggest makers. Adding beauty to every frame cinematographer Nimish Ravi, brought director’s vision to life.

National Award winning editor Navin Nooli is editing the film. The highly anticipated movie shoot is wrapped recently and it is slated to release in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil languageson 7th September, worldwide..

”లక్కీ భాస్కర్” సినిమాలో బ్యాంక్ క్యాషియర్‌గా మునుపెన్నడూ చూడని కొత్త లుక్‌లో దుల్కర్ సల్మాన్ కనిపిస్తున్నారు. ఇటీవల విడుదలైన టీజర్ విశేషంగా ఆకట్టుకొని, సినిమాపై అంచనాలను పెంచేసింది. జాతీయ అవార్డు గ్రహీత జి.వి. ప్రకాష్ కుమార్ సంగీతం అందిస్తున్న ఈ చిత్రం నుంచి “శ్రీమతి గారు” అనే మొదటి గీతాన్ని జూన్ 19వ తేదీన చిత్ర బృందం ఆవిష్కరించింది.

Sithara Entertainments Releases Soothing First Single “Srimathi Garu” from Dulquer Salmaan and Venky Atluri’s “Lucky Baskhar” Composed by GV Prakash Kumar

Dulquer Salmaan, the Multi-lingual superstar known in Telugu cinema for blockbusters like “Mahanati” and “Sita Ramam” stars in “Lucky Baskhar” a captivating character drama. Directed by blockbuster filmmaker Venky Atluri, the film is produced by the renowned Telugu production house Sithara Entertainments on a grand scale.

The recently released teaser of “Lucky Baskhar” has heightened expectations showcasing Dulquer Salmaan at his charming best. Now, the makers have unveiled the first single “Srimathi Garu” composed by national award-winning composer GV Prakash Kumar, on June 19th.

The song, sung beautifully by Vishal Mishra and Shwetha Mohan starts with captivating violin sections, transitions into a lilting flute melody and is enriched by drum beats adding grandeur to the composition.

Lyricist Shreemani’s words perfectly capture the tender affection of a husband for his angry wife, using phrases like “Chamanti navvu” and “Paluke oo Vennapoosa” to express deep love. GV Prakash Kumar’s live orchestration with expert use of flute, strings, and simple beats adds to the song’s appeal. Following the success of “Mastaaru Mastaaru” from “SIR” the collaboration of singer Shwetha Mohan, composer GV Prakash Kumar and director Venky Atluri delivers another endearing melody.

Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the leading lady opposite Dulquer Salmaan. Set in the late 1980s and early 1990s, “Lucky Baskhar” follows the journey of an ordinary bank cashier who achieves extraordinary success.

Ace cinematographer Nimish Ravi captures this journey in splendid style, while the talented Banglan contributes his expertise in production design. Dulquer Salmaan has carved a niche for himself in Indian Cinema. Renowned for his charming personality and irreplicable acting skills, the actor has been one of the most sought after actors in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Now, he is set to charm the world with an extra-ordinary tale of a common man, “Lucky Baskhar”.

Ever since commencement of the film’s shoot, makers have been releasing regular updates and fans of the actor, movie-lovers have been entangled by each one of them. On 29th May, the makers have made official announcement regarding the release date of the film. The eagerly anticipated film, Lucky Baskhar will release worldwide on   September 27, 2024.

Venky Atluri, the writer-director of blockbuster films like Tholi Prema and Sir/ Vaathi, is directing the film. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, respectively, are producing the film on a lavish scale.  Srikara Studios is presenting it.

Meenakshi Chaudhary is playing the leading lady role opposite Dulquer Salmaan in the film. Renowned composer GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for the film and ace cinematographer Nimish Ravi is delivering mesmerizing visuals. National Award winning production designer Banglan and editor Navin Nooli are working on the film.

Set in late 1980′s and early 1990′s, the film will chronicle the interesting, turbulent and extra-ordinary life journey of a simple bank cashier, Lucky Baskhar. The recently released teaser of the film, on the occasion of Dulquer Salmaan’s birthday, has been able to set right expectations for this film.

Well, the film has now entered in to the final leg of shooting and it will release in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil languages worldwide, theatrically.

Dulquer Salmaan is one of most sought after and highly successful Pan-India actors of Indian Cinema. He scaled to heights in popularity becoming an inspiration to many with his unique script selection and talent.

After Sita Ramam, he has announced his next venture in Telugu, Lucky Baskhar, with talented director Venky Atluri. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, respectively, are producing the film.

Sithara Entertainments has been coming up with variety of films in different genres and they have become the highly active production house in Telugu Cinema, in recent years. They have started making inroads into Pan-India market and after Sir/Vaathi with Venky Atluri, this is their second Pan-India film, with the director.

Lucky Baskhar shoot commenced on the auspicious day, 24th September, with a Pooja. Producers, director and actors participated in the event and everyone expressed great confidence in the movie.

The story of Lucky Baskhar is said to follow this theme, “An ordinary man’s extraordinary journey to Unscalable heights”. National Award winning composer GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for the film.
