‘అ ఆ’, ‘భీష్మ’ బాగా ఆడాయి. ఈ సినిమాతో హ్యాట్రిక్ రావ‌డం సంతోషంగా ఉంది. ‘గుండెజారి గ‌ల్లంత‌య్యిందే’ మూవీ త‌ర్వాత ఆ జాన‌ర్‌లో నేను చేసిన సినిమా ఇది. హీరో క్యారెక్ట‌ర్ చేంజ్ అయ్యే సీన్లు అంద‌రికీ బాగా న‌చ్చుతున్నాయి. వ్య‌క్తిగ‌తంగా నాకూ అవి న‌చ్చాయి. కీర్తి గొప్ప న‌టి. అను పాత్ర‌ను చాలా బాగా చేసింది. మేమిద్ద‌రం ‘రంగ్ దే’ క‌థ‌ను బాగా న‌మ్మాం. అది మా ఇద్ద‌రి మ‌ధ్య సీన్ల‌లో రిఫ్లెక్ట్ అయ్యి, బాగా వ‌చ్చాయ‌నుకుంటున్నా. మార్నింగ్ షో కంటే మ్యాట్నీకి క‌లెక్ష‌న్లు ఇంప్రూవ్ అయ్యాయి. షోకి షోకీ క‌లెక్ష‌న్లు పెరుగుతుండ‌టం హ్యాపీ. వీకెండ్ నాటికి మ‌రింత బాగా క‌లెక్ష‌న్లు వ‌చ్చి, బ‌య్య‌ర్లంద‌రూ హ్యాపీగా ఉంటార‌ని ఎక్స్‌పెక్ట్ చేస్తున్నాం.” అన్నారు

డైరెక్ట‌ర్ వెంకీ అట్లూరి మాట్లాడుతూ, “ఎగ్జామ్స్ రాసి, ఈ రోజు రిజ‌ల్ట్ కోసం ఎదురుచూశాం. రిజ‌ల్ట్ బాగా వ‌చ్చినందుకు చాలా హ్యాపీ. అన్ని ప్రాంతాల నుంచీ పాజిటివ్ వైబ్స్ వ‌స్తున్నాయి. ముందుగా ఓవ‌ర్సీస్ నుంచి పాజిటివ్ రిపోర్ట్ వ‌చ్చింది. ఈరోజు పొద్దున్నే గుడ్ న్యూస్‌తో నిద్ర‌లేచాం. హీరో హీరోయిన్లు నితిన్‌, కీర్తి, మ్యూజిక్ డైరెక్ట‌ర్ దేవి శ్రీ‌ప్ర‌సాద్‌, డీఓపీ పీసీ శ్రీ‌రామ్ ‘రంగ్ దే’కు నాలుగు మూల స్తంభాలుగా నిలిచారు. అర్జున్‌, అను పాత్ర‌ల్లో నితిన్‌, కీర్తి వండ‌ర్‌ఫుల్ ప‌ర్ఫార్మెన్స్ ఇచ్చారు. దేవి బ్యూటిఫుల్ ఇస్తే, పీసీ గారు త‌న కెమెరాతో సూప‌ర్బ్ ఔట్‌పుట్ ఇచ్చారు. ఈ సినిమాతో నాకింత మంచి అవ‌కాశాన్నిచ్చిన సితార ఎంట‌ర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్స్‌కు రుణ‌ప‌డి ఉంటాను. ఈ బ్యాన‌ర్‌లో మ‌ళ్లీ మ‌ళ్లీ వ‌ర్క్ చేయాల‌ని కోరుకుంటున్నాను. డైలాగ్స్‌కు ఆడియెన్స్ నుంచి మంచి రెస్పాన్స్ వ‌స్తున్నందుకు హ్యాపీ. అయితే ఆ క్రెడిట్‌ నాకంటే వాటిని చెప్పిన అంత బాగా చెప్పిన ఆర్టిస్టుల‌కే ద‌క్కుతుంది. సినిమాలో ఓ పార్ట్ ఫారిన్‌లో జ‌రగ‌డం అనేది నా సినిమాల్లో కోఇన్సిడెన్సే త‌ప్ప‌, సెంటిమెంట్‌గా చేస్తోంది కాదు. మొద‌ట ఈ సినిమాకు ఇట‌లీని బ్యాక్‌డ్రాప్‌గా అనుకున్నాం కానీ, కొవిడ్ వ‌ల్ల అక్క‌డ లాక్‌డౌన్ విధించ‌డంతో, బ్యాక్‌డ్రాప్‌ను దుబాయ్‌గా మార్చాం. ఆ సీన్స్ బాగా వ‌చ్చాయి, ప్రేక్ష‌కుల‌కు బాగా న‌చ్చాయి.” అన్నారు.

నిర్మాత సూర్య‌దేవ‌ర నాగ‌వంశీ మాట్లాడుతూ, “సినిమాకు మంచి రెస్పాన్స్ వ‌స్తున్నందుకు ఆనందంగా ఉంది. అంద‌రూ సినిమా గురించి పాజిటివ్‌గా మాట్లాడుతున్నారు. అంద‌రి కంటే ముందుగా మీడియా ప‌ర్స‌న్స్ ఫోన్ చేసి సినిమా బాగా న‌చ్చింద‌నీ, ఎంట‌ర్టైన్‌మెంట్‌, ఎమోష‌న్స్ బాగా వ‌ర్క‌వుట్ అయ్యాయ‌ని చెప్తుంటే చాలా హ్యాపీ ఫీల‌య్యాను. మార్నింగ్ షోతో పోలిస్తే, మ్యాట్నీకి క‌లెక్ష‌న్లు ఇంప్రూవ్ అవ‌డం, ఫ‌స్ట్ షోకు ఇంకా పెర‌గ‌డం ఆనందంగా ఉంది. మునుముందు క‌లెక్ష‌న్లు ఇంకా పెరిగి, సినిమాని ప్రేక్ష‌కులు పెద్ద హిట్ చేస్తార‌ని ఆశిస్తున్నాం.” అన్నారు.

Happy with hat-trick hits with Sithara Entertainments: Nithiin

Youth star Nithiin and National Award winning actress Keerthy Suresh starrer ‘Rang De’ was directed by Venky Atluri and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments banner, released at the box office on Friday and received a unanimous positive talk. With such a reception, the success celebrations were held at Sithara banner’s office in Hyderabad.

Speaking on this occasion hero Nithiin said, “The response to the film is superb. Audiences are thoroughly enjoying the comedy and emotional elements in the movie. The chemistry between me and Keerthy Suresh worked out really and Keerthy’s role is getting a lot of appreciation. So do for my role. I would like to thank all the audiences who are pouring down a lot of compliments. This is my third film in Sithara Entertainments and I’m really happy to score a hat-trick with this banner. The box office collections of the film are improving with every. We are getting reports that matinee collections are better than morning and so on. Hopefully the weekend collections will be far better.”

Director Venky Atluri said, “This moment is like a student waiting for his result after writing an exam. I’m so happy that the result is very positive. We are receiving positive vibes from all areas. We woke up this morning with good news from overseas but we are still nervous. Nithiin, Keerthy, music composer Devi Sri Prasad and cameraman PC Sreeram are the four pillars of this film.  I will be indebted to Sithara Entertainments banner and I will work with them in future. Also it’s no sentiment that film have foreign backdrop. It’s just a coincidence and initially we planned to shot in Italy but due to pandemic we shot in Dubai.”

Producer Naga Vamsi said, “Everyone who has watched the movie are saying positive words about it. Most importantly the media people have liked ‘Rang De.’ Some have liked the comedy and others emotional element. It’s a complete packaged film. Also the collections are getting better with every show and we hope that the collections will be far good in the weekend and ‘Rang De’ will become a big hit under our Sithara banner.”

‘రంగ్ దే’ క‌థ ఎలా పుట్టింది?
‘మిస్ట‌ర్ మ‌జ్ను’ త‌ర్వాత ఒక క్యూట్ ఫ్యామిలీ మూవీ చెయ్యాల‌నే ఆలోచ‌న వ‌చ్చింది. ప‌క్కింటి అబ్బాయి, ప‌క్కింటి అమ్మాయి త‌ర‌హా పాత్ర‌ల‌తో అలాంటి సినిమా చెయ్యాల‌నుకున్న‌ప్పుడు అర్జున్‌, అను పాత్ర‌లు నా మ‌న‌సులో పుట్టాయి. అలా వ‌చ్చిందే రంగ్ దే. ఈ సినిమాలో ల‌వ్ ఫ్యాక్ట‌ర్ కంటే ఎమోష‌న్ ఫ్యాక్ట‌రే ఎక్కువ ఉంటుంది.

కథాంశం ఏమిటి?
ప‌క్క ప‌క్క‌నే ఉండే రెండు కుటుంబాల క‌థ ఇది. స‌హ‌జంగానే మ‌నం మ‌న ఇంట్లోవాళ్ల‌ను ప‌క్కింటివాళ్ల‌తో పోల్చి చూస్తుంటాం. అలాంటప్పుడు వాళ్ల మ‌ధ్య ప్రేమ‌, ద్వేషం లాంటి ఎమోష‌న్స్ ఏర్ప‌డుతుంటాయి. అలా పొరుగిళ్ల‌లోని ఓ అబ్బాయి, ఓ అమ్మాయి మ‌ధ్య వ్య‌వ‌హారం పెళ్లిదాకా వ‌స్తే ఎలాంటి ప‌రిస్థితులు ఏర్ప‌డ్డాయ‌నేది ఆస‌క్తిక‌రంగా చిత్రీక‌రించాం. ఈ మూవీలో ఇటు క‌డుపుబ్బ న‌వ్వించే హాస్య స‌న్నివేశాల‌తో పాటు, మ‌న‌సుని త‌ట్టే భావోద్వేగ స‌న్నివేశాలూ ఉంటాయి.

‘రంగ్ దే’ అనే టైటిల్ పెట్ట‌డం వెనుక ఏదైనా కార‌ణం ఉందా?‌
ఇంద్ర‌ధ‌న‌స్సులోని ఏడు రంగుల్లో ఒక్కొక్క‌టి ఒక్కో ఎమోష‌న్‌కు ప్రాతినిధ్యం వ‌హిస్తుంద‌ని చెబుతుంటారు. అలాగే ఈ సినిమా క‌థ‌లో ర‌క‌ర‌కాల భావోద్వేగాలు ఉంటాయి. అందుకే ‘రంగ్ దే’ అనే టైటిల్ పెట్టాం. అయితే సినిమాలో కామెడీ, ఎమోష‌న్స్ ప్ర‌ముఖంగా క‌నిపిస్తాయి. చివ‌రి 35 నుంచి 40 నిమిషాల సినిమా నిజంగా ఎమోష‌న‌ల్‌గా న‌డుస్తుంది.

హీరోగా మీ మొద‌టి ఛాయిస్ నితిన్ యేనా?
నిజానికి నేను ఈ క‌థ రాసుకున్న త‌ర్వాత మొద‌ట నితిన్‌ను కాకుండా వేరే హీరోల‌ను అనుకున్నాను. ఈ సినిమా చేయ‌డానికి సితార ఎంట‌ర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్స్ ముందుకు వ‌చ్చాక‌, నితిన్ పేరును నిర్మాత నాగ‌వంశీ సూచించారు. నితిన్ ఒప్పుకుంటాడో, లేదోన‌నే సందేహంతోనే నేను క‌థ చెప్పాను. త‌ను సింగిల్ సిట్టింగ్‌లోనే ఓకే చేయ‌డంతో న‌మ్మ‌లేక‌పోయాను. క‌థ‌ను ఆయ‌న అంత‌గా న‌మ్మాడు. నితిన్‌, కీర్తి అంత‌గా ఈ క‌థ‌ను న‌మ్మ‌డంతో వాళ్ల పాత్ర‌ల‌తో మ‌రింత బాగా ప్ర‌యోగాలు చేయ‌వ‌చ్చనిపించింది. ట్రైల‌ర్ రిలీజ్ చేశాక నా సినిమాల‌కు ఎప్పుడూ రానంత పాజిటివ్ రెస్పాన్స్ వ‌చ్చింది. దాంతో సినిమాపై నా న‌మ్మ‌కం ఇంకా పెరిగింది.

‘మ‌హాన‌టి’ త‌ర్వాత కీర్తి వ‌రుస‌గా లేడీ ఓరియెంటెడ్ సినిమాలు చేశారు. ఈ రోల్‌తో ఆమెకు ఎలాంటి పేరు వ‌స్తుంద‌నుకుంటున్నారు?‌
‘మ‌హాన‌టి’ ఒక లెజండ‌రీ ఫిల్మ్‌. నేను ఈ సినిమా కోసం సంప్ర‌దించిన‌ప్పుడు కీర్తి.. మిస్ ఇండియా, పెంగ్విన్‌, గుడ్‌ల‌క్ స‌ఖి సినిమాలు రాలేదు. మ‌హాన‌టి వ‌చ్చాక కీర్తిని ఆ సినిమా ఫేమ్‌గానే చెప్తున్నారు కానీ, దానికంటే ముందు ఆమె మంచి మంచి రోల్స్ చాలా బాగా చేసింది. ఈ సినిమాలో అను పాత్ర ఆమెకు మంచి పేరు తెస్తుంద‌ని న‌మ్ముతున్నాను.

నితిన్‌, కీర్తి సురేష్‌ల‌తో సెట్స్ మీద ప‌నిచేసిన అనుభ‌వం ఎలాంటిది?
నితిన్ నాకు ప‌దిహేనేళ్లుగా ప‌రిచ‌యం. అందువ‌ల్ల నాకు త‌న‌తో సెట్స్ మీద చాలా సౌక‌ర్యంగా అనిపించింది. కీర్తి విష‌యానికి వ‌స్తే, ఆమె వెనుక ‘మ‌హాన‌టి’తో వ‌చ్చిన పెద్ద పేరుంది. ఆమెతో ఎలా ఉంటుందో అనుకున్నాను. కానీ రెండో రోజు నుంచే చాలా కంఫ‌ర్ట్ అట్మాస్పియ‌ర్‌ను ఆమె క్రియేట్ చేసింది. అలా ఆ ఇద్ద‌రితో చాలా సౌక‌ర్యంగా ఈ సినిమా చేశాను. నా కంటే ఈ స‌బ్జెక్టును నితిన్‌, కీర్తి గ‌ట్టిగా న‌మ్మారు. షూటింగ్ జ‌రుగుతున్నంత సేపూ క‌థ గురించి, స‌న్నివేశాల గురించి నాతో బాగా డిస్క‌స్ చేస్తూ వ‌చ్చారు. అర్జున్‌, అను పాత్ర‌ల‌ను వారు బాగా చేశారు అనేకంటే ఆ పాత్ర‌ల్లో వాళ్లు బాగా ఇన్‌వాల్వ్ అయ్యార‌న‌డం క‌రెక్టుగా ఉంటుంది.

పీసీ శ్రీ‌రామ్ లాంటి ప్ర‌ఖ్యాత సినిమాటోగ్రాఫ‌ర్‌తో ప‌నిచేశారు క‌దా.. ఎలా అనిపించింది?
జీవితంలో కొంత‌మందితో ప‌నిచేయాల‌ని అనుకుంటుంటా. పీసీ శ్రీ‌రామ్ గారితో అయితే క‌లిసి ప‌నిచేస్తాన‌ని నేను క‌ల‌లో కూడా ఊహించ‌లేదు. గూగుల్‌లో సెర్చ్ చేస్తే ఇండియాలోని టాప్ సినిమాటోగ్రాఫ‌ర్‌గా ఆయ‌న పేరు ముందుగా వ‌స్తుంది. క‌థ చెప్ప‌గానే ఆయ‌న‌కు న‌చ్చింది. అదొక షాక్ నాకు. ఆయ‌న‌కు ముందుగానే బౌండెడ్ స్క్రిప్ట్ ఇచ్చేయాలి, అదీ ఇంగ్లిష్‌లో. అది ఇచ్చాక ఆయ‌న త‌న అసిస్టెంట్లు ఆరేడుగురికి ఇచ్చి, చ‌ద‌వ‌మ‌ని చెప్పారు. అలా అంద‌రికీ ఆ స్క్రిప్ట్‌లో ఎప్పుడు ఏ సీన్‌, ఏ షాట్ వ‌స్తుందో తెలుసు. ఆయ‌న సెట్స్ మీదుంటే ఎవ‌రూ రిలాక్స్ అవ‌డానికి ఛాన్సే ఉండ‌దు, నాతో స‌హా. ఆయ‌న వ‌ల్లే 64 రోజుల్లో సినిమాని పూర్తి చేశాం. ఒక ద‌ర్శ‌కుడ్ని అయివుండి కూడా ఆయ‌న ద‌గ్గ‌ర నేను చాలా నేర్చుకున్నా.

దేవి శ్రీ‌ప్ర‌సాద్‌, శ్రీ‌మ‌ణితో ప‌నిచేసిన అనుభ‌వం ఎలా ఉంది?
దేవి శ్రీ‌ప్ర‌సాద్ ఈ సినిమాకు ఏం కావాలో అది ఇచ్చారు. ఆయ‌నిచ్చిన సాంగ్స్ ఒకెత్తు అయితే, రీరికార్డింగ్ ఇంకో ఎత్తు. ఈ సినిమాకు పాట‌లూ, బ్యాగ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ ప్ల‌స్ అవుతాయి. ఇక శ్రీ‌మ‌ణి అయితే ఈ సినిమాతో క‌లిపి నాకు 18 పాట‌లు రాసిచ్చాడు.  వ‌దులుకోవాల‌న్నా మేం ఇద్ద‌రం ఒక‌ర్నొక‌రం వ‌దులుకోలేం. మా ఇద్ద‌రికీ బాగా కుదిరింది.‌‌

సితార ఎంట‌ర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్ బ్యాన‌ర్ గురించి ఏం చెబుతారు?
నిర్మాణ విలువ‌ల విష‌యంలో సితార ఎంట‌ర్టైన్‌మెంట్స్ ఏ రోజూ రాజీ ప‌డ‌లేదు. మేం ఇట‌లీలో షూటింగ్ ప్లాన్ చేసిన‌ప్పుడు అక్క‌డ లాక్‌డౌన్ విధించ‌డంతో, ఇండియాలోనే షూటింగ్ చేసేద్దామ‌నుకున్నా. కానీ నాగ‌వంశీ అలా కాద‌ని దుబాయ్‌లో ప్లాన్ చేయించారు. క‌థ‌లోనూ దానికి త‌గ్గ‌ట్లుగా బ్యాక్‌డ్రాప్ మార్చాం. ఈ సినిమా కోసం ఖ‌ర్చు పెట్టిన‌దంతా మీకు తెర‌మీద క‌నిపిస్తుంది.

మీ త‌ర్వాత సినిమా ఏంటి?
సితార ఎంట‌ర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్స్‌, దిల్ రాజు బ్యాన‌ర్ క‌లిసి నా త‌దుప‌రి చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించ‌బోతున్నాయి. అది ల‌వ్ స్టోరీ కాదు. వేరే త‌ర‌హా సినిమా. ఇంత‌కంటే ఎక్కువ విష‌యాలు దాని గురించి చెప్ప‌లేను.

Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh had more belief on ‘Rang De’: -Director Venky Alturi

Rang De starring Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles, is releasing grandly worldwide on March 26th. The film is produced by Sithara Entertainments while it is written and directed by Venky Atluri. Ahead of the release, the director interacted with the media to share his working experience.

Speaking Venky said, “After ‘Tholi Prema’ and ‘Mr. Majnu’ I wanted to do a cute family entertainer. Just when I was thinking about a neighbour boy and girl, the characters of Arjun and Anu hit my thoughts. More than the romantic angle, this will be high on emotions.”

The idea behind the title ‘Rang De’ Venky revealed that every colour in rainbow portrays a different feeling and emotion, so does this film. It has many emotions that are different from one another. But there is more of comedy and emotional quotient. The last half another to forty minutes is going to be even more emotional.

Disclosing that Nithiin was not the first choice for ‘Rang De’ Venky added that after penning the script, I had a couple of heroes in mind. “When Sithara Entertainments came forward to bankroll this movie, producer Naga Vamsi suggested Nithiin’s name. I had my doubts whether Nithiin would accept my script but to my surprise, I gave nod in a single sitting and I was amazed. Both Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh believed in ‘Rang De’ script more than and it gave scope for me to do a bit of experiment too. After the trailer release, there is a huge positive buzz and so we are confident that audiences would like our ‘Rang De,” said Venky.

On Keerthy, Venky said, “Even more ‘Miss India’ ‘Penguin’ and ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ I approached Keerthy for ‘Rang De.’ I’m confident that as Anu in this movie, she would get a better name.”

Working experience with legendary cinematographer PC Sreeram, Venky added that he would cherish it for long. “To work with such legends is a huge opportunity. Firstly we have give Sreeram a bounded script that too in English. After reading the script, Sreeram said okay and it was unbelievable for me. He passed on the script to his assistants and so everyone remembers the scene that we are going to shoot. Because of Sreeram, we were able to wrap up the shooting in just 64 days. Being a director, I learned a lot from Sreeram,” stated Venky.

Regarding Devi Sri Prasad’s music, the director added that Rang De music is already a big hit and DSP should take the credit for it. But he did give his best for the rerecording.
