సుద్దాల కలం నుంచి జాలు వారిన మరో అద్భుత గీతం ‘బంజారా’

శ్రీశ్రీ, వేటూరి తర్వాత జాతీయ అవార్డు అందుకున్న తెలుగు గీత రచయిత సుద్దాల అశోక్ తేజ. మూడు దశాబ్దాల సినీ జీవితంలో ఆయన ఎన్నో అద్భుతమైన పాటలకు ప్రాణం పోశారు. ఆయన ‘నేను సైతం’ అంటూ ఆవేశాన్ని రగిలించగలరు.. ‘సారంగ దరియా’ అంటూ కాలు కదిపేలా చేయగలరు. ఆయన తన కలంతో ఎన్నో భావాలు పలికించగలరు. తాజాగా ఆయన కలం నుంచి మరో మధుర గీతం జాలు వారింది.
ప్రముఖ నిర్మాత సూర్యదేవర నాగవంశీ నేతృత్వంలో పలు చిత్రాల నిర్మాణంతో దూసుకుపోతున్న ప్రసిద్ధ చిత్ర నిర్మాణ సంస్థ సితార ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్స్ స్టార్ యాక్ట‌ర్‌ ‘ధనుష్’తో జతకడుతూ ‘సార్’ చిత్రాన్ని శ్రీమతి సాయి సౌజన్య (ఫార్చ్యూన్ ఫోర్ సినిమాస్ సంస్థ) తో కలసి నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. శ్రీకర స్టూడియోస్ చిత్ర నిర్మాణ సంస్థ ‘సార్’ కు సమర్పకునిగా వ్యవహరిస్తోంది. ‘సార్’ ధనుష్ తో సంయుక్త మీనన్ జోడీ కడుతున్నారు.
వెంకీ అట్లూరి దర్శకత్వం లో తెలుగు, తమిళంలో నిర్మిస్తున్న ఈ ద్విభాషా చిత్రం ‘సార్’(తెలుగు) ’వాతి’,(తమిళం) నిర్మాణ కార్యక్రమాలు ముగింపు దశలో ఉండగా, మరోవైపు చిత్రం పాటల ప్రచార పర్వం వైపు అడుగు వేసింది చిత్ర బృందం. ఇందులో భాగంగానే చిత్రానికి సంభందించిన ‘బంజారా’ అనే గీతం ఈరోజు విడుదల అయింది.

నీది కానీ చోటే లేనేలేదు బంజారా
యాడ పుట్టె తీగ యాడ పుట్టె బూర
తోడు కూడినాక మీటిచూడు తంబూర”
అంటూ సుద్దాల అశోక్ తేజ అందించిన సాహిత్యం హృదయాన్ని హత్తుకునేలా ఉంది. “ఏదీ మన సొంతం కాదు. కష్టాలు, సుఖాలు శాశ్వతం కాదు. ఈ క్షణాన్ని ఆస్వాదించడమే జీవితం” అనే అర్థమొచ్చేలా పదునైన మాటలతో, లోతైన భావంతో ఆయన కలం నుంచి జాలువారిన అక్షరాలు ఆలోచింపజేసేలా ఉన్నాయి. సుద్దాల అద్భుతమైన సాహిత్యానికి అంతే అద్భుతమైన జి వి ప్రకాష్ సంగీతం, అనురాగ్ కులకర్ణి స్వరం తోడై పాటను మరో స్థాయికి తీసుకెళ్లాయి.
తాజాగా విడుదలైన ‘బంజారా’ లిరికల్ వీడియో ఆకట్టుకుంటోంది. అందులోని లోకేషన్లు పల్లె వాతావరణాన్ని ప్రతిబింబించేలా ఉన్నాయి. కథానాయకుడు ఊరిలో వాళ్ళతో కలిసి నాట్యం చేయడం, అలాగే హోటల్ లో స్నేహితులతో కలిసి తిని బయటకు వచ్చాక అక్కడున్న చిన్నారికి డబ్బు సాయం చేయడం వంటివి అతని పాత్ర తీరుని, స్వభావాన్ని తెలియజేస్తున్నాయి. గీతం లోని సాహిత్యానికి అద్దం పట్టేలా కథానాయకుడి పాత్ర ఉంది. అలాగే ఈ లిరికల్ వీడియోలో పెళ్లి బృందంతో కలిసి సంగీత దర్శకుడు జి.వి ప్రకాష్, గాయకుడు అనురాగ్ కులకర్ణి నాట్యం చేయడం ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణగా నిలిచింది. సంగీతానికి తగ్గట్లుగా నృత్య దర్శకుడు విజయ్ బిన్ని అందించిన స్టెప్పులు ఆకట్టుకుంటున్నాయి.
“జీవితం వెనుక ఉన్న వేదాంతాన్ని, జనన మరణాల మధ్య ఉన్న బతుకు బాట, దాని పరమార్థాన్ని చిత్ర కథానుసారం చెప్పే ప్రయత్నం చేశాం. భగవంతుడు మనకు ఏమీ చేయట్లేదని అనుకోవద్దు. నీకోసం ఒక స్థానం పెట్టాడు. అక్కడికి చేరుకోవటం నీ భాధ్యత అని చెప్పే పాట ఇది. బతుకు ప్రయాణం గురించి పాట కావాలని, చిత్ర కథ, సందర్భం దర్శకుడు చెప్పిన తీరు నచ్చింది. ఆది శంకర తత్వాన్ని, భగవద్గీత సారాన్ని దృష్టి లో ఉంచుకుని ఈ గీతానికి సాహిత్యం అందించటం జరిగింది అన్నారు” సుద్దాల అశోక్ తేజ.
ఇటీవల ఈ చిత్రం నుంచి విడుదల అయిన ప్రచార చిత్రాలు, ఇటీవల విడుదల అయిన ‘మాస్టారు మాస్టారు‘ గీతం ‘సార్‘ పై ప్రపంచ సినిమా వీక్షకులలో అమితాసక్తి కలిగించాయి. విద్యావ్యవస్థ తీరు తెన్నుల మీదుగా కథానాయకుడు సాగించే ప్రయాణం అందులోని సమస్యలు, సంఘటనలు ‘సార్’ జీవితాన్ని ఏ తీరానికి చేర్చాయన్న ది అటు ఆసక్తి ని, ఇటు ఉద్విగ్నత కు గురి చేస్తుందని చిత్ర నిర్మాతలు తెలిపారు. తెలుగు, తమిళ భాషల్లో ‘సార్’ 17 ఫిబ్రవరి, 2023 న ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా విడుదల కానుంది

*lyricist Suddala Ashok Teja, GV Prakash team up for an inspirational dance number
Award-winning actor Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon are teaming up for the much-awaited college drama, Sir a.k.a Vaathi, a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, written and directed by Venky Atluri. S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are bankrolling the film under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas while Srikara Studios presents it. GV Prakash scores the music for the drama. After delighting audiences with Mastaaru Mastaaru, the makers of Sir/Vaathi launched the second single, Banjara, today.
Sung by Anurag Kulkarni and penned by national award-winning lyricist Suddala Ashok Teja, Banjara is a foot-tapping, motivational number, set in a rustic backdrop, that elaborates on the larger truths of life through simple, effective metaphors. The song establishes that the protagonist, played by Dhanush, who plays a lecturer in the film, is fighting for a cause along with a group of students. The number states the importance for all to recognise the true purpose behind their existence.
The opening lines, ‘Ille naadhani..vaakili naadhenante..Pakkuna navvuthadi bhoothalli..Padave naadhani..alalu naavenante..Padi padi navvutavi..sandrale’, with a hint of sarcasm and excellent wordplay, say the need for a human to rise above their ‘I, me, myself’ approach to life and suggests them to become one with nature. The references to the origin of thambura, various dimensions of nature and simple joys of life, showcase Suddala Ashok Teja’s brilliance.
Anurag Kulkarni lends Banjara just the right amount of raw energy and enthusiasm while making an appearance alongside composer GV Prakash Kumar in the lyrical video as well. Vijay Binni’s choreography enhances the impact of the number further and designs it more like a celebration, extracting the best out of Dhanush as a dancer. Going by the lyric video, the song unfolds when the lecturer and the students are on the move.
“Through Banjara, a situational number in Sir, we’ve tried to discuss the innate philosophy of life, the purpose beneath our existence and the fight for livelihood between our birth and our last breath. The song discusses why it’s wrong to say that God hasn’t done much to help you, how he has a place reserved for you and that it’s your responsibility to reach there. I liked how the director narrated the story, situation and wanted me to write about a life journey in a song form. Banjara was written keeping the essence of Bhagavadgita and the preachings of sage Adi Shankara in mind,” Suddala Ashok Teja shared.
The film will release simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil across the globe on February 17, 2023
Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Narra Srinivas, Pammi Sai, Hyper Aadhi, Shara, Aadukalam Naren, Ilavarasu, Motta Rajendran, Hareesh Peradi and Praveena essay important roles in Sir too. J Yuvraj cranks the camera while Navin Nooli is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Venkat handles the action choreography.
